Story
Hey there, I`m Wyatt, the happiest pup you`ll ever meet! I`m a 1.5-year-old Lab mix with a heart full of love and a personality to match. I`m looking for a forever family that can keep up with my playful and energetic nature.I`m a goofy and fun-loving guy who is always up for an adventure. I have a ton of energy, so I love to run and play whenever I get the chance. I`m also a social butterfly and get along great with other dogs. I would love to have a fenced yard where I can run and play to my heart`s content.I would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where I can burn off some of my energy. I would also do best with kids who are 10 and up, as my high energy level might be a bit much for younger children. If you have cats, don`t worry—I`m happy to do a slow introduction to make sure we get along.I`m in good health and ready to find my forever home. I`m up to date on all my vaccines and just can`t wait to find a family that will love me as much as I love them.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is: SPONSORED!

Story
Hey, everyone, I`m Presley!I`m an adorable 1 year old lab mix and I weigh just over 50 pounds. I have the prettiest white markings but am mostly black in color. I came to the shelter about a week ago and was super scared when I got here but am gradually getting used to my human and fur friends. I got to play in two different dog/dog playgroups today and I had so much fun with a couple of my buddies that stay with me here.Since I am still a bit shy and unsure of my surroundings, I would do best in more of a quiet home with not a lot going on. If you do have children, it would be better if they were older and not as rough playing with me. I love treats and balls and I eat my food very nicely and politely.I cannot go to a home with smaller animals or cats.I don`t know any tricks yet, so I would do really great with a family that would be dedicated to taking me to basic obedience training where I can learn very good manners. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm and Saturday 10am-3pm. To help speed up the application process, it is recommended that you complete the online application form found at the link below.https://www.macombgov.org/departments/animal-control/adoptions,My adoption fee is $100

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN FOSTERING THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE A FOSTER APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM/HELP/FOSTER. PUPPY FOSTERS NEEDED - This is NOT an application for adoption! Puppies are cute and fun, but can also be loud, stinky and they get into everything! We are looking for foster homes in the northern Oakland County area (rescue is based out of Oakland Twp, just north of Rochester) that will foster puppies while we find them the best furever homes! Puppy fostering is very short lived as we trypically have a large amount of applications for our puppies. Foster parents will be required to take their foster pups to necessary vet appointments at one of our partner veterinary office (Clinton Twp, Sterling Heights and Rochester) for any necessary appointments or spay/neuter surgery. Foster parents will be responsible for keeping puppies safe from injesting foreign objects, jumping off of tall surfaces and providing them with a clean and healthy environment to prevent the spread of bacteria or parasites. There is an immediate need for puppy fosters! Puppies should be fostered in pairs to help with continued socialization. These particular puppies are  Furever Tails Animal Rescue covers all the costs for the care of the animals in foster homes. We provide food, supplies and the medical costs required to ensure we are adopting out healthy and happy pets! Fosters are not required to continue fostering for any specified amount of time, and if foster parents fall in love with their foster pet then they have the first option to adopt!  Furever Tails Animal Rescue is based out of northeast Oakland County. Our vet offices are located in Clinton Twp, Sterling Heights and Rochester. It would be ideal if the foster home was within range of our approved vet offices in case of medical emergencies or basic preventative care. Fostering is such a rewarding experience! Many of the lives we save are those in great risk of being euthanized for no fault of their own. Saving a life can be as easy as opening your home for a temporary period of time while we process applications for a lifelong furever home! IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently adopting outside of the state of MI. We process applications ONLY - there is no guarantee that you will get a response to an inquiry. MEET BERNIE: Bernie is an adorable 8-10 month old black Labrador and Spaniel mix who is looking for his forever home. He was found as a stray and unfortunately, no one came to reclaim him. Bernie is a smaller framed dog and is not expected to grow up to be a big dog, making him a perfect fit for families looking for a more compact companion. This sweet pup is bursting with energy and loves to be around people. Bernie is a happy and social puppy who would thrive in an active family that can provide him with plenty of exercise and playtime. He gets along well with other dogs of similar energy and has even met a cat without any issues.  Bernie has already shown a good understanding of house manners and is crate trained, making him an excellent candidate for adoption. He would do well with older children who are experienced with dogs, as they should be able to tolerate his playful puppy energy.  Bernie is still learning how to navigate leash manners, so a home with a physical fenced yard would be ideal for him to continue practicing and improving. At his adolescent age, he still has much to learn and would greatly benefit from training sessions to help him become a well-rounded and obedient companion.  Due to Bernie's exuberant nature, he may occasionally jump up out of excitement. However, with consistent training and guidance, this behavior can be easily corrected. Bernie is also in the process of discovering how fun toys can be and is likely to be an enthusiastic playmate. Bernie is a great travel companion and rides well in the car, making it easier for his future family to take him on adventures. He would be best suited to a loving home where he can receive the attention, exercise, and training he needs. If you are an active family looking for a lovable and energetic pup, Bernie may just be the perfect fit for you. Give him a chance and provide him with a forever home filled with love, patience, and plenty of fun. Story
Eddy is a 4 year old brown lab/german shepard mix (his birthday is September). I got him as a rehome from a young couple that didn't have a yard. Eddy has lots of energy and needs a yard to run in, romp, and play. Although he loves to be outside he prefers to be with his owners, so if you are inside he would prefer to be with you. If left outside he would cry to come in. He is a large dog that doesn't understand his size. He thinks he is a lap dog and will try to sit right in your lap. He is good with kids, it's just his size and strength he is unaware of. He is house trained, no accidents. He can, at times, eat fast so we use one of those food bowls that looks like a maze. I recommend a placement with older children, teens, due to him being rambunctious and not understanding his strength and size. No property destruction, except he has chewed on a couple children's toys that were left out (he is drawn to stuffed animals). Due to pulling, a gentle lead is used during walks.
