Story
Meet Noah — your big-hearted holiday hero. This sleek-coated, 73-pound black Lab/Pit mix is estimated to be around 2–3 years old and is as lovable and kind-hearted as they come. He bonds deeply, adores affection, and has a joyful, contagious spirit. Noah is also a determined, intelligent boy who will thrive with an adopter committed to helping him learn through basic and intermediate obedience classes, along with consistent leash training.Noah is looking for a single-family home with a fully fenced yard where he can stretch his legs, run, and play to his heart’s content. He is not suitable for apartment, condo, or mobile-home living. This active young dog needs room to move and a family excited to provide plenty of walks, runs, and adventures. He plays wonderfully with other dogs who match his energetic style. His experience with cats is unknown, so if you have feline family members, slow and supervised introductions will be essential.Noah’s adoption fee is $100, which will go toward the cost of his neuter surgery. He is available as a foster-to-adopt until his neuter appointment is completed. After his appointment, your adoption will be final. Bring Noah home for the holidays and give this deserving boy the Christmas gift of a lifetime — a family to call his own.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $100

Story
If you’ve been searching for a dog who brings equal parts comedy, chaos, and cuddles… congratulations, you’ve just met Chessie! This 7-month-old chocolate pitty–lab mix is basically a mug of hot cocoa with legs—lots of legs.Well, three regular legs and one uniquely-styled, old-injury-but-still-fully-functional “custom” leg.Think of it as her signature feature, like a celebrity with a quirky smile. It doesn’t slow her down at all—in fact, you may need a seatbelt just to watch her run. Energy Level: HighLike… very high.Like “zoomies powered by espresso” high.Like “is she part kangaroo?” high.Chessie is learning “sit,” which is exciting because it`s currently her only mastered move besides “launch” and “squiggle.”She’s a good girl at heart, but she’s going to need consistent obedience training and someone who finds joy in the phrase “we’ll get there.” Ideal HomeA large fenced-in yard where she can unleash her inner track starHumans who appreciate enthusiasm, goofiness, and a dog who comes with complimentary cardioKids 12+ (she loves people, she just might accidentally yeet smaller ones)No cats, unless your cat is specifically looking to enter a witness protection programShe’s affectionate, eager to bond, and has a heart as big as her energy reserves.Yes, she’s a project—like a lovable, wiggly, chocolate-colored fixer-upper—but the kind that pays you back in snuggles, silliness, and unconditional love.If you’re ready for high-speed hugs, enthusiastic life commentary, and a best friend who thinks you hung the moon, Chessie is ready to meet you!

Hello, looking for a forever home for Zuri. She is a 5 year old lab, everything up to date. She loves belly rubs, sitting outdoors and chasing squirrels. She is housebroken and well behaved. Unfortunately we already have another dog and can’t keep her. She is an indoor dog but loves sitting in the sun. She gets along with other dogs and loves children. If possible would love to be able to visit with her. In the Macomb County area. URGENT!!
