Story
Bismuth is truly one of a kind! He just turned 1 this past March and we have just adored watching him grow and learn. Unfortunately due to some health issues in our family this has lead us to have to move suddenly to a smaller space where we will be unable to have him or be able to afford his needs. He was born in the home of a family member in Alabama and we took his life to Michigan. (He’s got that southern charm though!) He’s spunky and energetic with a bit of an attitude and will demand pets. He’s a total cuddle bug and loves blankets and anything soft. He is crate trained and really enjoys being in his little spot when we are away. (Minimal barking) he will even go lay in it when he pleases. Since he’s 1 and he’s still learning we would advise crating while the family is away. We are truly going to miss this guy and we really want to find the perfect, loving, home for him. 💕* Important note, he is on a prescription Hydrolyzed Protein food.*

MEET MIRACLE: URGENT: PLEASE HELP SAVE THIS LIFE MIRACLE NEEDS A MIRACLE Miracle, a 4-year-old mixed breed dog (Lab, Husky, Shepherd mix?), is in dire need of a second chance at life. This beautiful 70-pound girl full of energy and love, and a lust for life, has been failed multiple times, and now finds herself in a shelter, facing a euthanasia decision from the animal control shelter that she is being housed at The Devastating RealityShelters can be overwhelming and traumatic for even the best dogs, causing stress to their mental and emotional well-being. Miracle, with her loving personality, is no exception. She needs a MIRACLE (pun intended!) to escape this situation and find a forever home where she can thrive. We understand the harsh reality and need for humane euthanasia, and we would never intentionally place anyone in danger when it comes to an unsafe animal. We do not shame the shelter staff for having to come to this conclusion as it is not their fault that these dogs end up in their care. If we truly didn’t feel that she is becoming a victim of the shelter life, then we wouldn’t take this kind of time to plead for her life.Miracle's Best QualitiesDespite her difficult past, Miracle has many wonderful qualities that make her an ideal companion:She has done well with other dogs her size and energy level. She has lived with older children in the past. She walks decently on a leash and enjoys going for walks. She knows commands and is relatively obedient, even in the shelter environment. She loves to run and play in the yard, and even enjoys a refreshing dip in the pool on hot summer days. She is house-trained!Ideal HomeAn active family, preferably with older children (teens) if kids are in the homeExperienced dog owner; someone who understands that some dogs don’t want to share their food, treats or toys with others. No felines (we have no past knowledge of her interaction with cats).Fenced yard preferred or at least avid walkers.Patience, consistency, and routine; Miracle has lived a shelter life for almost 60 days!A Special RequestTo give Miracle the best chance at a happy life, we are asking for your help. We have already sponsored the adoption fee and will sponsor $250 to cover the cost of training to ensure she receives the support she needs to adapt to her new home.Time is Running OutMiracle's fate is being decided as we speak. If we don't act fast, she will be euthanized - we have managed to buy her a little more time! We can only hope that we can prevent this from happening. We truly believe that this girl deserves another chance at life, love, and happiness. We want the right home for her because we can’t imagine having her bounced around again, so we are looking for furever – not temporary. We are looking for those with serious interest in saving a life! How You Can HelpMiracle needs a home with stability and consistency, someone not ready to turn their back on her. Please consider opening your heart and home to Miracle. Your love, patience, and understanding could be the difference between life and death for this deserving dog.Apply to adopt Miracle! Story
Gamora is a lover doggy, loyal and very joyful. She is 10 moths old. Gamora is full of energy and is always up for short or long walks or jogging. She would join us for a 5 to 6 kms run without issues. Gamora likes to play with her toys and with owners all the time, she can be very funny with everything she does like playing dead, covering her face with her paws when she´s laying on the floor being pet, etc. Would be good with kids above 12 as Gamora likes to play a lot and likes jumping at people while playing and little kids could get scared. She would be happy in a home with a fence if possible.
