Story
Everyone, meet Barry!Barry is the new big man on the block and he`d like for you to come say hello! Barry is a black labrador mix approximately 9 years of age and weighs in around 90 pounds. He is definitely full grown and even though he is a bit older, he will enjoy lots of long walks. He knows how to sit and shake and I`ll bet that with just the right kind of treats, you can teach him even more new tricks!Barry came to us as a stray but has not been taken care of the best before he came to us. He has a bit of scarring around his neck from either a collar that was too tight, or being tied out on a rope way too long. He LOVES to get scratches and pets and will rub his head into yours to show you home much he loves you.Barry is not fixed just yet so he has a tendency to be a bit jumpy on the other dogs but that should subside slowly after his surgery appointment. Until that time, Barry will be available to foster to adopt. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is SPONSORED.

Story
SaDeye (pronounced Sah-Die) is a six yr old lab/pit bull mix that we've had since she was just weeks old . Her birthday is September 11th, we bought her from an old neighbor as a little puppy before we had our children. SaDeye is a very excitable and playful dog. She needs a loving home that has space for all her energy and time for all the love and affection she deserves. We live in a small trailer, have a 3 yr old daughter and twins on the way. We've never been able to afford to get her fixed (which her vet recommends she still does) and her shots need updated as well. We love her, however, are unable to provide for her with the babies coming and both of us working full time. She needs a home looking for a fun dog to love and people who have the time and money to care for her how she deserves.

Story
Age: 5 years Weight: 60lbs Good with dogs? No Good with cats? No Good with kids? Older Energy Level: Moderate Adoption Fee: $320.00 Any other info: Meet Daisy! Daisy was adopted from us two years ago and just recently returned. When Daisy first came to us she needed an FHO surgery and was barely getting around. She had her surgery and did great with recovery! Unfortunately she is now back with us and has gained quite a bit of weight, which is hard on her hips. We are working on getting her back in shape but all in all she is doing great! Daisy can be weary with strangers in the home from what we were told but she has been such an angel here with us and is happy to see everyone. She wiggles her entire body around in excitement and smiles from ear to ear when we approach her cage. We can hardly get a picture of her because of her happy feet dancing around in excitement whenever she sees you. Daisy originally came to us from a shelter where she was at risk of being euthanized for space. We don't get a ton of info on these dogs so we don't know much about her history but it is clear she is a lover girl! We believe she was not properly socialized with other animals at an appropriate age and with her history of her surgery and possibly being painful in the future, she is looking to be the only pet in the home. Daisy would adore being an only child and loved on the way she deserves. She knows her commands, is house/potty trained, loves comfy beds, tasty treats, and above all being loved unconditionally. Although this sweet girl has been through a lot of ups and downs in her life, she is still so optimistic and so hopeful for her future. We just know there is a perfect family out there waiting for a dog like Daisy! She is estimated to be around 5 years old, spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and kept on prevention here with us. She is also on joint supplements and a medication to help with her anxiety. Daisy did like to run out of her house and cause mischief which is how she ultimately ended up back here with us. She is looking for a family that will make sure she cannot go running out of the front door and get into trouble. If you have the perfect home for Daisy, please apply through the link below. https://form.jotform.com/201977724595065 Once your application is processed and approved, our adoptions team will reach out to schedule an in person meet and greet with Daisy. ------------------------------------------------ Our adoption fees include the pets spay or neuter, microchip, up to date vaccines, heartworm/tick disease testing and fecal check. All adoption fees can be found on our groups' Petfinder page. The first step to our adoption process is to please fill out and adoptions application, it can be found on our website www.serenityanimalhospital.net, under the "Adopt From Us" Tab.
