Story
Max found us in August of 2024. He wandered up to our living room window to say hi to our old girl, Pippa, and he never left. He was flea bitten, marred up, skinny, and looked like he'd been on his own for awhile. I fed him, started him immediately on Flea & Tick meds, gave him a bath, and brought him in to see our vet. He had no worms or parasites, but is allergic to flea bites; otherwise a very healthy boy, estimated at 10 months to a year old. We listed him on all the neighborhood sites, lost and found sites, but no one came forward to claim him. He gets along with Pippa so we'll, we decided to continue his care and give him a name. Unfortunately Pippa has cancer and is not well. She is scheduled to cross the rainbow bridge next week. Max deserves a person or family who will love him, play with him, and hopefully have room to run. We need to re-home Max as soon as possible, hopefully to limit the amount of stressful situations he must endure as he loses his best pal.

Story
Nessa is a 5 year old Lab mix who is way past ready to find the perfect family. Nessa has had a rough past, which makes it hard for her to warm up to new people, but once you are in her circle she is the sweetest and goofiest girl you could imagine. Winning Nessa over will take a very patient and loving human who is willing to take things at her pace, but having a dog like her open her heart to you is the most rewarding and fulfilling experience you can imagine.  With her favorite people Nessa starts showing her true personality. She LOVES treats (especially the human food type), belly rubs, and under ear scritches. She also loves to chew on tasty benebones, or kill those pesky squeaky stuffed toys. Nessa also has a very beautiful voice and happily greets you or tells you how excited she is for meal time by expressing it. She also gets VERY excited to go on walks with her pack! Despite being afraid of the world, when shes walking with her people and her dog friends her tail never stops wagging. Nessa's best friends in her foster home are a confident happy beagle who shows her the ropes, and on overly friendly cat who loves snuggling up to her. She would love more friends in her new home to help her learn that her new humans are AWESOME and that there is no reason to be scared.  Nessa is crate trained, house trained and dog and cat friendly! Because she can be such a nervous nelly she may do better in a home without rambunctious youngsters. We would love to introduce you to this beautiful soul, and can't wait to hear from you soon.  She is spayed and up to date on shots. Her adoption fee is $250. George is 1 year old and about 75 pounds. This guy has the best pouty lip, the prettiest golden peach coloring, and a heart of pure goodness. George loves snacks, dogs, belly rubs, people of all ages and sizes, snacks, belly rubs, smelling all the things on walks, people, and dogs, and snacks, and walks. George recently had a hip replacement and will need a family who makes sure he gets his annual x rays and gives him lots of veggies for treats. If you're looking for a PERFECT disposition and willing to teach a young guy some manners, and also don't mind stopping in the middle of your walk to collect treasures or for a quick roll around and belly rub, George is your man! George is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and comes with a brand new hip for only $250. You can apply to adopt him at www.rescueofhope.com/adopt/ ##2378738##

Story
Larry is 6 months old and almost 40 pounds. Quick details ... he's neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.  Crate and potty trained. Now on to the important stuff, HIS EARS. He likes to style them a variety of ways: one up one down, one sideways one down, one sideways one up, but his preference is the elusive double comb over. Larry loves all the dogs in all the sizes and is looking for a forever home with a playful dog companion. He loves all the people but sometimes gets excited so dog experienced kids would be best.  If you would like to adopt Larry's ears and the perfect black dog attached to them, his adoption fee is $275 and you can apply at www.rescueofhope.com/adopt/ ##2370578##
