Story
Annabeth, a beautiful 6 yr female dog with a big heart and a wonderfully expressive personality. She is the perfect mix of an active outdoor adventurer and a cozy couch companion. Annabeth loves one on one attention and thrives on deep bonds with her humans. She is a snuggle bug who loves to be near you. Her favorite hobby is chasing birds in the sky. She is athletic and loves a good run to burn off energy. When playtime's over, she excels at curling up for some affection. Annabeth does fantastic with her dog buddy, Oliver, who is also available for adoption! They love to play together, and she would be thrilled to find a home that has room for both of them.

Story
Her name is just as sweet as her personality. Meet Oreo! A family loving girl that meets you at the door with a toy in her mouth and tail a waggin. After 10 long months in a shelter, Oreo went into a foster home, underwent heartworm treatment, and is now ready for her forever home. Her foster family includes a 19mo toddler in which Oreo absolutely adores and a male boxer dog that keeps her company and shows her the ropes. She hasnt met a human she doesnt like and just yearns for love. She has many tricks up her sleeve to make you smile...from her tail thumping on the couch when she sees you, running around with a toy in her mouth, or her sneaky pawing for more belly rubs. Oreo loves her stuffies and likes playing fetch. She is also a fan of water and will be the first to jump in a kiddie pool. While she gets along well with her foster doggy brother, Oreo is very vocal when seeing other pups out on walks. This is something that is a work in progress with her foster mom. If her forever family includes a doggy sibling, she would be best with a laid back male who doesnt take her yapping too seriously. Oreo can be left alone while her foster parents are gone and she will not chew or scratch at things. She has waited far too long and truly deserves a loving home. If you are ready to meet your next best friend thats ready for adventure or to cuddle on the couch, then Oreo is your girl! I need to get rid of my dog Sebastian. He will be 4 on July 10th. He is a sweetheart most of the time but he does get protective sometimes when strangers are around especially men he doesn't know. He has been great with my 4 kids. He doesn't like other dogs most of the time. He gets along with our cats most of the time. Feel free to reach out with any other questions.

Meet Scout! Scout came to us as a stray and sadly was never reclaimed so he is now searching for a forever home! Scout is a Labrador Retriever mix that is only about 1 year old and weighs around 60 pounds. Scout loves to play and run around, an active family would be ideal for him! Scout is housebroken and is good with kids, but older would be ideal. Scout doesn’t mind the cats and is good with the other dogs! We do require a dog intro with any future k-9 siblings to make sure everyone gets along! Scout is up to date on his vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, heartworm tested negative, microchipped & neutered! Story
Despite his Halloween-ready name, this handsome hound is about as scary as a marshmallow. He’s all tail wags, goofy grins, and zoomies galore—no ghost stories here, just good vibes and belly rubs. Spookey is a young pup still brushing up on his manners, but his enthusiasm for life (and snacks) makes every training session a party. He’s a certified goofball who finds joy in everything, from sprinting around the yard with his dog friends to flopping over for belly rubs or discovering that treats are basically magic. He’s the type of dog who’ll make you laugh daily, melt your heart hourly, and probably convince you to share your snacks before the day’s over. If you’re looking for a cheerful sidekick who’s equal parts silly, sweet, and snack-motivated, Spookey’s your guy—no tricks, just treats. Want to meet him? Submit an adoption application at the MAS website to schedule a visit and see if this not-so-spooky sweetheart is your perfect match! D.O.B: 9 / 15 / 2024 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physically fenced-in areas. Please fill out our online adoption survey at www.mackenzies.info/adopt/adoption-survey-application/
