Story
Hi, I'm Ziegler! I've got a knack for turning everyday life into a comedy. Like the time I chased a squirrel, ended up lost, wasn't claimed, and found myself at my new foster home. Don't worry, the squirrel was unharmed, and I made friends with my foster family and foster fur siblings instantly! I'm always ready to play, and my goofy antics will keep you laughing. I'm loyal, energetic, and I've got a big heart. I promise to be your best friend, your most enthusiastic cheerleader, and your favorite comedian all rolled into one. Adopt me, and let's start our adventure! I even come kennel trained and potty trained! Adoption Fee: $300 plus tax Apply to adopt: www.campcompanion.org

Story
This is Ace, he originally was part of an unwanted litter that ended up at an impound in 2017, they were 6 weeks old when we rescued them. They were known as the Pasta Pups and Ace was originally named Fettuccine. Fast-forward to 2024 and Ace was found running loose and taken to animal control for temporary impound until we had space on intake. Chip was scanned and trace back to Paws and claws for adoption. Animal control officers made contact with the family who was on vacation, but we're gonna be moving and did not want the dog back. We're only going to reclaim him to euthanize..? Not here to slam the original owners, just explaining the tragedy of the situation, as he has been terribly frightened and shaking in his kennel trying to figure out what is happening. Now it's been a couple weeks since his arrival and things are looking up. We can only do better and find him a loving home that will keep him until the end of his time on this earth hopefully.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sonya came to the shelter from the city pound when her hold was finished and no one had claimed her. She appears to be around a year old and looks like a black lab/pit bull type mix. There could be some other breeds in there, too. She's very loving and full of enthusiasm. She has been vet checked and spayed and her fee is $150. Sonya does know how to sit (most of the time) but will most likely need some basic training. She is a very energetic young dog who will require regular exercise. We do think she would do well with other dogs (males preferably). We have no way of knowing about cats. Kids over 5 would be best as she is very bouncy and needs training. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Please keep an eye on your emails if you apply. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventative, and spayed or neutered.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 3, 2024, 3:07 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mia came to the shelter as an owner surrender. She is a lab/hound mix who is wiggly and friendly. Mia was brought to us as she was too much energy for the home which already had 2 other dogs and small kids. She did not behave negatively in any way. She has been vet checked and spayed and her fee is $150. Mia is a strong and somewhat stocky gal. She has the color of a redbone coonhound and the shape of a lab. She did live with other dogs in her previous home and did well. She is fine with kids. Cats? We have no way of knowing. She is pretty active so she will require regular exercise and maybe some basic obedience training.
