Story
Meet Gravity! 🐾This boy has been waiting patiently for the right person to come along. We know his perfect match is out there. 🐕 Gravity is an 18-month-old, 70-pound Lab mix with a big personality and a lot of heart. He’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations, and more than ready for a fresh start. Gravity is hoping to find a patient, loving home that’s willing to give him the time, guidance, and commitment he deserves. This happy, high-energy boy is always ready for an adventure. Hikes, fetch, tug-of-war, zoomies in the yard, whatever the activity, Gravity is all in. He has lots of love to give and enjoys plenty of pets and hugs. Like many young dogs, he’s still working on his manners. He can be strong on leash and gets excited and jumpy when meeting new people, but he’s voice-and treat-responsive and settles nicely with guidance. Once calm, he knows how to sit and greet politely. ❤️Gravity would do best with someone who understands dogs, has the time to invest, and is excited to work with him on training. He’s still figuring things out, but he’s eager to learn and responds well when given guidance. 🎯With consistency, structure, and enough exercise to burn off his puppy exuberance, Gravity has all the makings of an amazing companion. He’s not a “finished product,” just a young dog who truly wants to do right and be the very best boy for his person.🏠 If you're looking for an energetic, playful dog who keeps you active, adds joy to your home, and is sure to become your best companion, stop by and meet Gravity!Stray Haven194 Shepard RoadWaverly, New York 14892(607) 565-2859Hours: Tuesday-Friday 10-5Saturday 10-4Closed Sunday & MondayStray Haven Humane Society & SPCA194 Shepard Rd., Waverly, NY 14892(607) 565-2859, www.strayhavenspca.org Open hours:Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pmSaturday-Sunday 10am-4pmClosed on Mondays

Story
Dean is 1 year and 10 months old. We adopted him from a shelter at age 4 months. He had been found abandoned at 2 months old. Dean is a healthy and typical young lab - lots of energy and craves attention. He loves to play with toys and run around outside. He is house trained, crate trained, and has learned several commands. He bonded quickly to my teenage grandson as well as to myself. It is unknown how he would be around younger children or cats. He is reactive to other dogs but we believe he could be socialized. Our own personal health issues during the past year has made it difficult for us to care for Dean. Thus, we are looking to rehome him. Someone with experience and patience training a dog would be best.

Story
Meet Biscuit  Biscuit is a young male blonde lab/pittie mix currently thriving in an upstate NY foster home — and he’s every bit the happy, curious puppy you’d expect. Full of energy, personality, and potential, Biscuit is learning what it means to be part of a home. Like all puppies, he’ll need guidance, structure, and consistency as he grows, but he’s already showing how eager he is to learn and connect with his people. Biscuit would do best with a family who understands puppy life — training, patience, and routines — and is excited to help shape him into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. If you’re looking for a playful pup to grow with and build a bond from the start, Biscuit might be your guy.All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary. Vet references are required and prior to adoption a home inspection will be conducted. Transport options available. Adoption fee applies.  If interested go to www.pmarinc.org for an application. Story
Butters is a male lab mix puppy just over 3 months old. He is friendly, playful, and displaying typical puppy behavior — curious, energetic, and eager to learn. As a young puppy, Butters will need continued training, guidance, and consistency to help him develop into a confident adult dog. He is at an ideal age for socialization and learning and would do best in a home prepared for the responsibilities of raising a puppy. Butters is looking for an adopter who understands puppy development and is committed to providing the structure and stability he needs to thrive. All of our animals receive comprehensive veterinary care prior to adoption, including a full exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, spay or neuter, heartworm testing, and any necessary medical treatment.   A vet reference, home and/or family visit, and an adoption fee are required.   Transport options are available within our operating region, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. We do not adopt animals to Canada.    For more information or to submit an application, please visit www.pmarinc.org.All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
