Story
Hello, new friends! I'm Khaos, and I'm pretty much your typical goofy teenage puppy. I might be shy when we first meet, but come for a walk and I'll show you all my favorite sniffing spots. We'll be friends pretty quickly. I only occasionally live up to my name. (Ask my friends to tell you about the time I figured out how to turn on the faucet and made an indoor pond to play in while my room was being cleaned! I thought it was hilarious! My human friends who had to clean it up were less impressed.) Mostly I'm happy to curl up next to you after our walk, put my head and maybe a paw into your lap, and cuddle. I like going for hikes and running really fast while playing with dogs who share my full-throttle playstyle, but also leaning on my human friends to ask for a chest rub. It turns out that lots of humans don't like me to jump on them or pull their sleeve to get their attention. Who knew? I didn't! It's one of the things I'm learning here, along with "sit", "down", "leave it", waiting at the crosswalk before running into the road, and not pulling too hard on the leash. These are good skills, right? I've been told I'm pretty easy to train, and I bet you could teach me even more cool things. Want to come meet me? Call 607-257-1822 and make an appointment! Story
Do you have any snacks to share? I'm Ace, and talking to strangers is pretty scary for me, but I love treats. If you have some, I think we could go for a walk and become friends. Then we can play soccer. When I arrived here, I didn't really see the point of the toys folks were throwing around, but then they got a big ball. Game-changer! Humans kick it, I chase it, we try to intercept each other, and see who is better at dodging. It's awesome! I can see why so many humans like this sport. My friends say I'm doing a lot better at remembering my manners, and I've learned some other cool skills during my shelter stay, like sit, down, and leave it. When I'm with my human buddies, I can hardly wait to snuggle them! I also have been helping the staff with testing new dogs. My job is to greet new dogs and try to get them to play with me, so the humans can tell adopters whether the new dog likes meeting bouncy dogs. I sure do! Want to meet me? Or bring your dog to meet me? Call 607-257-1822 and make an appointment! (Adoption category: Lilac)

Story
Guapo is the name we call him the most, but our son named him Balthazar. He is a Shepherd/Lab mix, Lab traits dominant. He is super energetic and loves to play fetch with a ball. He was born on New Years eve 2018. We got him and his sister from a couple that was overwhelmed with the puppies at 3 months old. We love how well behaved he is around kids and how calm he is in the house. Our sons have moved out of town, and we can no longer spend as much time with Guapo and his sister as we used to due to the amount of traveling we do with our jobs. We would love for them to be adopted together, but it's not a must. They deserve a family that has the time to walk and play with them daily.

Story
Beautiful Lowen is seeking her forever home!  This beauty is just under 2 years old.  She currently weighs about 56 pounds and is full grown.  Lowen's mom was Chloe, the most gentle, loving pittie ever.  We ran a DNA test on Lowen, and you can see all the results, but she is equally divided between Pittie, Lab, and Shepherd. Lowen has the most beautuiful brindle coat!  She is dog social, and enjoys running and playing hard with other dogs.  A fenced yard and another energetic, playful pup in the home would really benefit Lowen, as she would be able to burn up some of her energy.  (A meet would be required for any dogs in the home.)  Lowen just needs an adopter to give her proper training and socialization to help her build her confidence.  She is very friendly and loves to give kisses and hugs.  Her energy is more on the higher side.  Once trained, she may make a good running buddy.  She appears to be potty trained and crate trained.  She is working on proper leash walking.  She is curious about cats but getting more comfortable so slow introductions are needed. We are recommending that any children in the home be at least 8 years old.  A meet with Lowen can be arranged as she is being fostered in the CNY area.  Lowen's adopton fee is $275, which goes towards vaccines and medical care up to adoption and costs associated with fostering.   ##1237305##

Story
It's your turn, Sugar!  This special girl is a lab mix that almost didn't survive the beginning of her life!  Sugar is now healthy, happy and ready for adoption!  She is believed to be a lab mix.  At about 6 months old, she weights between 25 - 30 pounds.  Sugar is just a ray of sunshine, with her full of life personality!  She loves playing with other dogs and she is good around everyone, including children.  She is potty trained, crate trained, and has all the housekeeping manners.  She just loves riding in a car, and she is even pretty good when walking on leash!  You couldn't ask for anything more!  Sugar is being fostered in Central NY so a meet can be arranged.  Her adoption fee is $350 which goes towards spaying at our vet, vaccines and medical care up to adoption, microchip and costs of fostering. ##1704919##
