Story
Buddy is part of the group we are helping house after the Choctaw rescue fire at FurEverFriends. Buddy is a BIG, playful, loving, guy. He is all play and all cuddles. If he isn’t running circles with friends he is sitting on his persons feet waiting for loves. He does well on leash but is a puller. Will stop pulling with a little verbal reminding. Just a happyy excited guy to be goin for a walk or trip. He is completely kennel trained. As for potty training, he marked our dog building once and hasn't done it since. Would do well with children and plenty of friends to play with but he is a BIG happy guy so keep that in mind if there are small people or young children around. He will seriously sit on his persons feet for love and attention!

ROBBIE IS WITH HEARTLAND LAB RESCUE Meet Robbie — the sweetest foster pup looking for his forever home! Robbie is a 7-8 year old gentle giant who’s believed to be a black lab/hound mix — his floppy ears and adorable howl are a dead giveaway! He was found wandering the streets and taken in by his previous foster in October. Now, he’s hanging with us while they move, and we’re learning just how amazing this boy is. Robbie’s #1 passion? His ball. He’s obsessed with fetch and lights up every time he thinks we’re headed outside to play. He’d absolutely love a big yard where he can run, play, and chase his beloved ball to his heart’s content. But when playtime is over, Robbie is perfectly content to chill and take a long, cozy nap. He’s the best of both worlds — playful and relaxed. Why Robbie’s awesome: •Well-mannered and well-tempered — knows “sit” and doesn’t jump! •House-trained & crate-trained (but doesn’t need the crate — he’s a perfect house guest). •Patient, gentle, and super tolerant with my 16-month-old toddler. •Gets along wonderfully with my two female dogs — he’s super friendly and respectful. •His only “flaw” is counter surfing — but he hasn’t tried that here yet (fingers crossed)! Robbie is heartworm positive, but he’s on a slow-kill medication (one pill, once a month) and it doesn’t slow him down one bit. He’s happy, playful, and full of love. Meet Daisy Mae! Hi, my name is Daisy Mae, and I’m looking for a loving family to call my own! My three brothers and I were abandoned on a dead-end county road in mid-October, but a kind couple took us in. While they’ve given us lots of love, four puppies are a bit much for them to handle, so now I’m hoping to find my forever home. I’m about 5 months old, already spayed, up to date on all my shots, dewormed, and on heartworm prevention. I’m crate-trained, working hard on my house training, and I walk pretty well on a leash. We have a fostering to adopt program to make sure the pet is a good fit for your family. Please research this breed of pet before considering foster / adopting. First submit an application. Once the application has been reviewed and approved. You will be contacted for an interview. You will need to submit veterinary references and contact information of your current Vet. A home check may be conducted. Foster / Adopters must have a fenced in yard. Once approved an appointment will be set up to meet the pet. If approved then the Foster to Adopt application will be signed by both parties. We will need original signatures. Snow is a lab mix. Her owner died of COVID. She was living outside/ inside and the neighbors were feeding her. She is a little skittish at first, but she is loving and sweet once she gets to know you. She gets a long with other dogs. She is looking for her furever home. Adopters must have a fenced in yard.

Story
River is a 2yr old golden retriever lab mix. He is high energy and loves playing. Unfortunately my son is unable to care for them at this time and we want him to go to a loving home. He gets along well with other dogs and he has a sister that is golden retriever husky mix and they have pretty much only had each other for about the past year. Would love for them to go as a bonded pair but will separate to good home. Due to my son’s condition we got them about a month ago and had a foster but she can no longer keep them as she has 4 big dogs of her own. Unfortunately I can’t keep them because we are full time river’s and don’t have the space for them to run.
