Story
Welcome Bentley to CCPAL Rescue. Bentley is a 3-month-old sweetie. He is a Lab/Pointer is our best guess. He has adorable long floppy ears and webbed feet. His feet are big so he should be about a 60 lb dog is our best guess. He is good with other dogs, soft and cuddly when you pick him up and leash trained. He does good on car rides and has been held a lot as a puppy so he is social and adorable. These puppies are not as active as some breeds and we would say moderately active puppies. The momma dog is very gentle and sweet too. If they are like her, they will be wonderful dogs. Bentley is inquisitive and good in his play group. They are not too vocal or big shedders. He is in a family with teenage children and is getting on a good routine. He currently weighs about 18 pounds but they are eating and growing fast. He would be great in a family and would be fine around children. We like them to be 8 or older. Loki has a bunch of siblings and is one of the siblings that has a beautiful grey coat. They were all found as strays and a good Samaritan is keeping them while we vet them and find new forever homes. Bentley has gotten his first puppy vaccine, nail trim and will get 2 more before he leaves the Rescue. He can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See his cute video.

Story
Welcome Liam to CCPAL Rescue. He is a beautiful Lab/Shepherd mixed puppy. He has the big webbed feet so she should be a good swimmer. He should be 60 lbs full grown. He is very attentive and makes great eye contact. He has the personality of a Lab Retriever. He is good in a crate and very affectionate. He is very outgoing and social. No new person makes him fearful. He does think everyone is a potential playmate or someone to rub and cuddle him. He is on a schedule and with that schedule is doing his business outdoors or on a wee pad. He is friendly with other dogs and is very playful and energetic. He loves all people and would be a great puppy for a family with children. We like the children to be 8 or older. He would be best with an active family over a couch potato family. He will need daily exercise and he is the typical inquisitive puppy. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day 8 hours would be best. Puppies need to be with their people and he will need to finish up his training. He was found in one of the local pounds that was out of space. All 4 puppies were set to be euthanized if a rescue didn’t step up. CCPAL stepped in for all 4 pups. They are currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport if needed is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.
