He will let you know when packages arrive or if neighboring dogs are at the fence, but otherwise, he is a docile, quiet boy.Erik has ligament injuries in his hind legs and arthritis, which is treated with medication. He walks but cannot manage more than one or two stairs.

Found near a warehouse, this sweet baby really needs a new home. No name yet, mostly called Buddy. Very playful and energetic but also well behaved, gets along well with our cat and dog. He has a bit of puppy mange but the monthly medication he's on for flea tick and heartworm is taking care of it (taken every thirty days, next dose is October 1st). He's very energetic and playful so if you don't have another puppy for him to play with make sure you have time and energy to spend with him. He doesn't like to be alone and will cry, otherwise he does alright if you need to put him in a crate or kennel. We've done basic commands with him like sit and stay and making sure he waits until food and water is done being poured or placed down before he eats and drinks.He does like to chew but it hasn't led to the destruction of anything other than one of his toys or caused anyone to get hurt. Just make sure you're okay with slobber because he will try to lick and chew on you.

Story
Moose is a sweet boy who is full of energy and loves people! He is a little over one year old and still very much a playful puppy. He loves running around a big yard chasing his ball or splashing around in the sprinkler. He is still very much learning how to not pull so much on a leash, but he loves going for walks. And he does great in the car, coming from WA, he makes for a chill road trip buddy. And don't hold back on the belly rubs. Although he does okay most of the time with our multiple children under 5, he needs and would be most comfortable in a home without kids or only with older kids. He hasn't been around other dogs much and he likes our cat more than our cat likes him, so I would say he would also adjust better into a home without other pets. For those reasons, we're hoping to find another family that will love him just as much but provide him with a better suited environment for him.
