Story
Johnny: •Labrador Retriever/Husky mix •9 months old •45lbs •Neutered male •Crate and potty trained •Good on the leash •Dog and kid friendly, (unsure about cats) Johnny is a sweet, timid, playful 9 month old Labrador Retriever/Husky mix who loves cuddling, playing with his doggy friends, and going on walks! He is a very affectionate boy and loves being around his people. Johnny weighs about 45lbs currently and is expected to be around 55lbs fully grown. Johnny was found as a stray and taken to our local high kill shelter where he landed on the euthanasia list for being scared. Already a shy-natured boy who tends to be scared of new things, Johnny's fear response was exacerbated by the frighteningly loud and unfamiliar shelter environment. Despite his terrified state, Johnny never once showed an ounce of aggression toward the shelter staff and volunteers who cared for him, which just shows how good of a dog he is! We were able to pull Johnny from the shelter and for the first 24 hours, he was understandably still apprehensive and shut down. After a bit of decompression time, his true personality started to come out! Johnny is now a carefree puppy who can finally act his age and get his energy out, not having to worry about his safety. He made quick friends with our other adoptable adolescent dogs and his favorite activity is playing chase and wrestling with them! Johnny plays great with the other dogs and hardly ever goes too hard or gets carried away with his play. He has a nice play style that all of the dogs seem to really enjoy; he's a lovely pup to have as company! As much as he loves his canine companions, Johnny loves his human friends just as much. He is a total cuddle bug once his energy is spent, and he has shown to be a great listener. He's very intelligent and catches onto tricks and commands quickly! Johnny is very treat and affection motivated, and he is always looking to you for direction. He's a fairly mild mannered pup inside, but can be a little ball of spunk when he's outdoors! Johnny can still be a bit scared of new things at first, as it has become a retained behavior from his experience on the unforgiving streets, but with a little encouragement he soon overcomes his initial fears. After he's past that part, he's happy to go on whatever adventure you have to offer him! Johnny would likely do just fine around cats but has not been tested with them. Johnny is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.

Story
Aizen dreams of having a yard of his own to explore. He has a couple of short zoomies at first, but once those are out of his system he's happy to just stroll around and take in all the scents — he’s quite the nose detective! Aizen enjoys affection and will happily soak up some pets but he’s also perfectly happy to do his own thing. He’s got an independent streak that makes him a very easygoing companion who doesn’t demand constant attention. This smart boy is fully potty trained and even learned to ring a bell in his previous foster home when he wanted to go outside - how’s that for impressive? He was a perfect houseguest too, causing no messes or trouble. He’s not too interested in toys, but he's a pro at sitting on command for a treat! With his manners and quiet independence and quiet independence he's going to make someone the perfect low maintenance best friend!

Story
Vienna is a little ray of sunshine! Playful and loving, she enjoys romping around with her sister Vail and never says no to a good toy. Watching her bounce through life will warm your heart every single day.Vienna has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a condition that affects coordination and balance. For her, this means a charming, wobbly walk—and while she may stumble from time to time, she always gets right back up. Unlike her sister, Vienna’s mobility is a bit steadier, and she doesn’t seem to have any vision issues. She does best on surfaces like grass, mats, or rugs and is happiest when she has room to play safely. What Vienna loves most? People! She’ll greet you like a long‑lost friend and happily soak up every cuddle you offer. Her happy, loving nature makes her a favorite wherever she goes.Vienna was evaluated by a neurologist at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists and, like Vail, was also diagnosed with managed seizure activity, which is separate from CH and involves a different part of the brain. She is doing well on medication to keep seizures under control. CH itself is not a degenerative condition, so her wobbles aren’t expected to worsen over time.Vienna would thrive in a calm, loving home with a safe, non‑slippery environment—think rugs, mats, or grassy spaces where she can wobble and play with ease. She needs someone committed to continuing her seizure medication and routine vet care, but most of all, someone who will celebrate her happy spirit and treat her like the treasured family member she is. If you’re ready to add joy, laughter, and unconditional love to your life, Vienna is waiting with open paws.DOB: 4/7/2516 lbs. and growing!AAR does not transport for adoption.
