Story
CharlieBrown - Lab Mix - Male - 3 yr - www.twyla.org If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org Meet Charlie Brown: Charlie is about 3 years old, and we think a Labrador/Catahoula Mix, he has the most lovely subtly spotted ears. He loves long walks in the park and being stroked gently on the ears. He’s shy at first, but once he knows you won’t leave your side or your lap. He was rescued after being feral outside running around the neighborhood with his girlfriend, Lucy ( who has also been rescued), for quite a while. Now that he’s tasted the kept life, he’s hooked and will never leave it, however a sturdy fence is required to keep him safe. He has a very sweet disposition, he gets along well with the fosters families other dogs - large and small - has quickly learned who he can play with and who he should stay away from (cough, cough - grumpy older dog , cough).  He’s been properly leash trained and knows commands like sit, lay down, stay, and crate trained. He loves stuffed toys, and peanut butter his favorite treat. Charlie Brown is looking for a home with another dog form him to play with and to learn from, he’d be best in a house with an experienced handler that can take him on walks daily. As he had spent a significant time on the run before he was rescued, he is still learning to trust humans as not all previous interactions have been kind, so an experienced, patient and kind handler is essential ***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***

Story
Crissy - Lab/Hound/Heeler Mix - Female - 10 Yrs - www.twyla.org If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org Meet Crissy: This sweet and friendly Labrador, Hound and probably Heeler Mix came to us with her siblings Allwood and Beemer after their caretakers could no longer care for them. You see, these guys were seen on video being abandoned as pups - the individual even tried to run them over with their car afterwards - and a family stepped up for them and took exceptionally great care of them. Fast forward a few years and the caretakers are getting older and health issues are becoming more difficult for the family that had already done so much for them, these guys are becoming too much for the family to handle. Crissy is now in our care looking for new home: Crissy is a little shy when she first meets new people but that doesn't last more than a few minutes once she figures out that most people want to give her pets, attention and treats. She likes treats and will gladly take brothers treats when he's too shy to eat them. Crissy is house trained, not a fan of the crate, and walks well on leash. She is pretty quiet, will announce when the doorbell rings and likes her walks, and is content with short walks. She rides well in the car as well. Crissy gets nervous in a crate when left alone - she is best when she can follow her person around the house during the day, and we have learned she does well uncrated when alone. She is looking for a moderately active home with another dog in the home, and preferably someone who is home a lot, as she is not a fan of being home alone.   ***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***

Story
Charlie is a lovable 2.5y/o Lab/German Shepherd mix looking for a new forever home through no fault of his own. Due to landlord restrictions, we sadly have to rehome him as soon as possible. He’s a sweet, energetic, and loyal companion who loves to play, go on walks, and cuddle up when its time to relax. Charlie is smart and eager to please, with that perfect mix of Lab friendliness and Shepherd intelligence. He’s fully house-trained, up to date on vaccinations. Charlie would thrive in a home with a yard to run around in or with an active owner who enjoys outdoor adventures. Charlie gets along well with other dogs and kids (haven’t had him around cats) and would be a wonderful addition to a loving family or individual ready to give him the attention and care he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving best friend, Charlie is ready to meet you! Please reach out as soon as possible if interested. He’s ready to find his forever family!

Sacha is very active, she likes to run and jump so much that she jumps over the fence and she likes to hunt other animals, she doesn't like noises or children running, we've had her since she was little but my daughter turns out to be allergic to dogs, she's had her other companion Tom and another dog and they've gotten along very well.
