What a cutie! Nello is so adorable! He's the perfect size and he looks like a puppy forever with his big brown eyes! Nello is a very sweet and sensitive guy. He loves to be by your side. He loves walks but he's also content just to lounge in the house and yard. Nello is nervous with strangers, therefore he would do well in a very calm adult (no children) household with yard access. Story
Kriss Kross has a remarkable rescue story. When he was discovered as a stray, he was in dire need of care—bearing a thin scar around his neck & back left leg from being tied up. Additionally, his eyes are slightly crossed, possibly due to past trauma. He is able to see but may not have the acuity of other dogs. His back leg being tied caused it to grow incorrectly, giving him a distinctive, endearing hop when he walks. Kriss Kross was rescued not out of pity, but because of his sweet and happy disposition. Despite everything he has endured, he has a kind heart, and it was clear to his rescuers that he deserved a chance at a good life. Kriss Kross has been thriving in a safe and nurturing environment—something he has never experienced before. Although Kriss Kross is incredibly affectionate, he is initially shy and slow to warm up to new people. However, once he trusts you, he will be your most loyal and devoted companion. His greatest joy is being close to his people, soaking up pets and cuddles. While he is friendly and polite with other dogs, he always prefers human companionship. Due to his sight deficits, he is less suited for busy public places or new environments. Instead, he would thrive in a stable home with a safe outdoor space, such as a fenced yard, where he can explore at his own pace. Kriss Kross needs a special home where he can continue receiving the love and care he deserves. If you’re looking for a gentle, resilient dog who just needs a little extra patience to show his full heart, Kriss Kross could be the perfect match for you. Story
Meet Bruno, a resilient and happy 10-month-old black Lab mix with a heart full of love and a zest for life. Bruno came into our local animal control with an injured leg, body full of BB pellets, and significant hair loss, but he’s made an incredible transformation. After his leg amputation and a lot of TLC, his coat has grown back beautifully, and he’s embraced life as a tripod with the sweetest spirit. Bruno is the ultimate companion. He loves playtime, whether it’s fetching, romping with other dogs (he gets along with everyone he meets), or guarding his favorite toys. When it’s time to relax, Bruno is perfectly content being a couch potato, whether on the couch with you or snuggled up in his own bed. He’s housebroken, sleeps well in his kennel, and is learning to walk on a leash like a pro. While he’s still building endurance on walks as he adjusts to being a tripod, his determination and quick learning are impressive. Bruno is initially cautious around new people but warms up quickly with a little patience and kindness. Bruno is ready to bring his joyful energy and unwavering loyalty to his forever home. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and resilient pup to join your family, Bruno is the one for you! Story
Meet Clover – A Sweet, Loving Companion with a Constantly Wagging Tail! Clover is a gentle and affectionate rescue dog who adores being close to her human and playing with her canine friends. Her soft ears, expressive eyes, and endlessly wagging tail make her an irresistible sweetheart. She is crate and house-trained, making her an easy addition to any home. Clover is currently thriving in her foster home, where she shares her days with her favorite playmate—a 25 lb Corgi. The two love to chase, wrestle, and play tug-of-war together. Though she hasn’t been fully tested with larger dogs yet, she showed no signs of concern around them at the shelter, and her naturally submissive nature suggests she’ll likely get along with everyone. She hasn’t met kids or cats yet, but she’s a gentle soul who just wants love. Clover is fantastic in the car and walks well on a leash. She prefers following her person over playing fetch, always eager to be wherever you are. At night, she happily sleeps in her crate, and during the day, she lounges in her dog bed or curls up on the couch near her foster mom. Though she’s a little timid around men at first, she quickly warms up with patience and kind words. Clover also has Megaesophagus, but with a simple feeding routine of frozen meatball-shaped food, she eats with no issues. If you’re looking for a devoted, loving companion with a tail that never stops wagging, Clover is the perfect match! To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
