Story
BARKLEY is a real sweetheart. He is a delightful Texas Blend, maybe with a small Lab mix. His two siblings and himself came to us as puppies but they both are long adopted. Somehow, Barkley got overlooked and is now past the “cute and small puppy” stage. However, he still loves to play with other puppies and run around with toys in his mouth. His home is on the ranchette with several other dog friends; a home with a dog buddy would be best to show him doggie ways and to model joy/things to be excited about – like walks are fun and for sniffing and show him how to do things . He is super smart, listens well, and loves to cuddle on you. He is food and treat motivated, so will be easily trainable; he will need weighted bowl so that he can eat in a way that is he comfortable/familiar with. He likes having a crate/den area easily accessible so he could feel secure. He will need housetraining reinforcement. It is Barkley’s turn to get out of foster care. He really belongs in a loving home, with his forever family. Can you have it in your heart to give him one soon please? Barkley spent a month of training at Bobbi Colorado’s Canine Camp. Currently, he is undergoing a month-long refresher course. We all know that this kind of training does not come cheap. We invested in this training, as we do not wish for him to grow up in a "shelter" environment forever. If you are an active family who loves walks, runs, or just the outdoors, Barkley is the one for you all. Go to our website for more pictures of Barkley. We require a home in the Austin metro area with a privacy fenced yard, and children over 8. Barkley’s adoption fee of $250.00 covers his vet exam, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal test, dewormer, heart worm preventative, neuter procedure, and microchip.

Story
He is a special 11 year old boy. He loves naps, still gets the zoomies and loves treats. He was a rescue and does have lingering anxiety from that. His daily medication helps with that. He is up to date on all vaccines and checkups.. He is house trained. Does not like a crate. He will lounge in his bed or favorite spot on the couch when he’s home alone. He is an eager leash walker and loves a good sniffing adventure. Once he gets a good amount of sniffing done, he relaxes and walks well on the leash. He is a runner, so a leash at all times is needed. He needs a good Alpha to reinforce recall. I could never get him trained in this. He fluctuates between 38-40 pound depending on how many treats he gets.

Clover🍀 is a young lab mix with a talent for making people fall in love with her in about 5 minutes. Clover and her sister were found curled up in a flower pot, trying to stay warm in south Texas during the recent cold snap. Thanks to a chain of rescue efforts they are now safe and warm in Austin-area foster homes.❤️‍🩹 Clover is happy, curious, and ready to be part of everyday life. She’s the kind of puppy who will follow you from room to room, sit nicely for attention, and then bounce off to grab a toy when playtime starts.🎾 She’s going to thrive in a home that wants a loving, social dog who can grow up as part of the family. Walks, playtime, couch time, dog friends, human friends. Clover is here for all of it. 🐕 Clover would do best in a home with a fenced yard for her to run and play, and children over 5 (since young children can often overwhelm young puppies, and vice versa). As with any young pup, she’ll need an adopter willing to work on her house training and general puppy skills. 🏠 Clover’s adoption fee of $375 includes vet exam, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal test, wormer, heart worm/tick test & preventative, spay, and microchip. Benji is truly a unique one a kind boy. He has a lot of feelings and he doesn’t quite know how to express them. He’s very sensitive. Benji is beyond goofy, he loves to run around and play. He can take rough housing a little too far but it’s only because he gets very excited. He doesn’t quite realize his size. He gets the zoomies often. The boy loves food. He will eat anything. However. He becomes territorial with food. He needs to be fed behind a baby gate or in a separate room. He knows this and is very easily trained. He would do best with a large backyard or active family. And w/ larger dogs. -Potty trained; will alert when he needs to go outside. -Comes with harnesses, leash, clothes, toys, bed, crate, and slow feeder. Aggression issues w/ territory, food, and when he’s sleeping. May lead to biting, however, not dangerous, and he’s trainable. Please be patient with him. And respect his boundaries. He is an amazing dog he deserves the world.

Rocko came into our lives ten years ago, all the way from Cali, Colombia. He was born in October 2015, just a tiny puppy when a close friend gave him to us as a gift. From the very beginning, he was meant to be family. Bringing Rocko home wasn’t easy. He made his very first big journey on an airplane, traveling in a kennel, brave and small, not knowing that he was on his way to a new life. At just 6 months old, he arrived in the United States, and from that moment on, he has never left our side. Rocko grew up with us. Every stage of life, every change, every move to a different City, every day, he was there. He is now 10 years old, and his personality is as unique as his story. He’s a little anxious and nervous, especially around strangers. Loud noises and people screaming make him uncomfortable, and he doesn’t like being petted by people he doesn’t know. Rocko chooses who he trusts, and once you are in his circle, you are in for life.
