Story
Up for adoption in Texas and New England, Candy. Mama Candy came to us with babies on board. After having her pups she was a sweet and attentive mama to them. Now that her babies are all raised and adopted, it’s little Mama Candy’s time to get all the attention she so deserves! Candy is about 2 years old and 48 lbs of sweet, cute, fun! And she’s a Gem! Candy loves people and other dogs and greets human visitors with a hello bark and other dogs out on walks excitedly. Candy adores the older human kids in her foster home. She knows sit and come commands. She loves playing fetch and will keep bringing the ball back for another round until she’s tired! She finds bugs a delightful snack. She responds well to correction while on walks if she pulls or zigzags. She’s not a fan of motorcycles zooming by! Candy only chews on dog toys and doesn’t dig in the yard! She’s not great at jumping in the back of cars, so you may have to help her in. Unlike typical labs, she’s a little bit of a picky eater as well as only likes certain treats, so you don’t need to worry she will steal your sandwich! She is happy hanging in her crate while her foster people are not home. Candy is walked a lot and doesn’t seem to get tired; however, at home she’s medium energy. She’s content with fetching a tennis ball then laying in her fluffy bed. She likes to know what’s going on and makes sure she’s always in a room with one of her foster people. If you are looking for a smart, gentle, medium-sized best friend, then Candy will be all that and more for you! Candy is spayed, vaccinated and chipped. If you think Candy will make a great new fur family member please apply at luckylabrescue.com

Burberry A sophisticated sweetheart, that’s a sweet three word summary that describes this down to earth yet “bouncing-ball” of a dog! I adopted Burbs when she was 1yr old when I was a junior student athlete in college to serve as an Emotional Support Animal. She is now 4yrs old, with the same big puppy heart I adopted her with! She is loyal and always knows how to make you feel like you’re never alone. She loves walks, and going to the park fields to run and play tag. Afterwards she’ll probably ask for an ice cube, or an apple-one of her favorite snacks! Burbs loves to cuddle and is great with kids, babies/pregnancy, and would serve great as a family dog or as your true companion. She shows kindness and patience and loves to make her presence known by sitting on your foot or asking for a belly rub. She is currently looking for a new home due to our family growing and us not being able to give her all the attention she deserves. With a toddler at home and a new baby on the way, the

Up for adoption in Texas: Angel. Angel is a stunning one-year-old beauty who’s ready to steal your heart! She is also people, dog, and cat friendly. We don't know what exactly she's mixed with, but she's gorgeous. Looks like she should be the star of a movie! This 50-pound beauty has blossomed into a loyal and sweet companion in her wonderful foster home where she lives with adults and teenagers. Angel loves nothing more than playing fetch and romping with other dogs, making her a perfect fit for an active home with furry friends. She’s fantastic on a leash, sleeps soundly in her crate at night, and even lets the resident kitten climb all over her while she lounges—talk about patience! Though a bit shy initially, Angel quickly warms up to her favorite people, showing off her affectionate side and happily sitting for treats. If you’re looking for a devoted, playful, and gentle pup to join your family, Angel is waiting to meet you! Check out her photos—she’s as angelic as her name suggests. Angel is housebroken, vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. Apply at www.luckylabrescue.com

Story
Hi there, I’m Lucy! I’m an 11-month-old, 55-pound bundle of fun, and I’m available for adoption in Texas and New England! My favorite things? Playing in the backyard, tossing my toys around, dining al-fur-resco at pup friendly patios, and zooming around with other pups! I’m a gold star student at doggy daycare — I always have great notes on my report cards for being friendly, playful, and the life of the paw-ty! If you love to run or hike, I’d make the perfect partner — I’ve got energy to spare and a love for adventure. I also love riding in the car and exploring new places. Road trip, anyone? But don’t let my playful side fool you — I’m a PRO at snuggles. After a fun-filled day, I’m all about belly rubs and cozy naps. I also love looking at myself in the mirror — what can I say? I think I’m adorable! I walk beautifully on a leash, checking in and heeling like a champ. I’m working on sitting at every stop, and I go on daily walks to keep up my skills! I sleep peacefully through the night in my crate, and will hang out in there when you’re gone with a frozen Kong during the day. I might talk about it a little at first (I just don’t want to miss out on all of the fun!), but with consistency, I’m learning to settle in nicely. I may need a little patience hopping in and out of the car, but if another dog shows me how, I’m all in! I’m still a bit of a curious pup — I love toys and would enjoy plenty of them so I don’t go looking for my own (like sticks, rocks, or other fun little treasures I find outside). I’m working hard on my manners too! I don’t jump on my human friends inside, but sometimes when I get extra excited outside, I forget. If you turn around and ignore me, I remember my good manners and sit for attention like a polite pup. I’m working hard on my training to be the best pup for my forever family! I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and on preventatives — ready to start my next big adventure with you! Think I might be your perfect match? Apply today at www.luckylabrescue.com!

Available for Adoption in Texas: Mabel! Mabel is a vibrant 6-year-old, weighing in at 60 pounds. She’s not just beautiful; she’s always camera-ready, with a smile that will light up your day. If you’re looking for a photogenic pup, Mabel is your girl – she’s a total ham! With her big personality and energetic spirit, Mabel loves to be part of the action. She enjoys the company of other dogs but would prefer not to feel confined by gates or crates when they’re nearby. If you currently have a dog at home, we recommend a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone’s a good fit! While we’re not sure how she would be around cats, she hasn’t shown much interest when passing by them on walks. Mabel is eager to please, especially when there are treats involved, making her a great candidate for continued positive reinforcement training with an experienced owner. She’d do best in a home with adults or families with older teens. House-trained, vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, Mabel is all set for her forever home. Ready to add Mabel’s joyful and sweet personality to your life? Apply today at www.luckylabrescue.com!

Story
Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Pepper. Pepper is eight months old and weighs about 45 pounds. This is an excellent opportunity to adopt a pup who is out of that challenging young puppy phase and already housebroken and crate-trained! She is an absolutely stunning pup! She is a feisty and energetic girl who loves to run and play. She loves having other dog friends to play with. She is still working on leash training. Pepper loves to climb halfway on your lap for affection. She would do best in a household with older children (likely eight years and above) as she exudes that incredible Lab-like energy we all know and love so much. Pepper does like to play, um, she calls it, "chase" with the cats in her foster home, which they do not appreciate. So, her future home should be cat-free. Pepper is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Apply for Pepper at http://www.luckylabrescue.com
