Story
Introducing Turkey, a sweet and curious pup! While initially reserved, once Turkey is comfortable with you he is incredibly affectionate and loves to play! With his typical puppy energy, Turkey loves playing outside and he's always up for a game of fetch or tug-of-war. Turkey has a lot of energy and loves to run and play! He's great with children and dogs, but would do best in a home without cats, as he wants to try to play with them. Though a bit skittish and easily startled, barking when scared, with love and patience, Turkey's goofy and spunky nature shines through. One of his funniest quirks is slithering on the grass like a snake with his back legs stretched out-it's both adorable and hilarious. Turkey barks a little when first put in his crate but settles down and sleeps all night with no issues. He's still getting used to leashes and needs some work with potty training, but he's learning and slowly getting the hang of it. Turkey is a big-hearted teddy bear who's ready to be your new best friend. Handsome and lovable, he just needs continued training to grow from a fun puppy into a well-behaved adult dog. While Turkey may require a little extra patience and training, we know that he will be a great addition for the right home!

Meet Oaklie, the handsome lab/Shar-Pie mix who is as charming as he is well-behaved! Oaklie is potty trained and handles kennel time like a champ, staying quiet and relaxed with no barking or whining. He's a fantastic walker on a leash. Oaklie is a quick learner, already knowing commands like sit, leave it, and shake, and he's currently mastering drop and down. He has a playful, energetic side but also knows how to settle down and relax. Oaklie does well with other dogs and enjoys playtime with his friends. This playful pup loves fetch and enjoys all kinds of toys, making him a delightful companion for fun and games. Oaklie can be a bit shy at first, but he warms up quickly and shows his loyal, gentle nature. He'd thrive with an active family with older children, as he might find younger kids' toys too tempting to resist. Ready to bring this playful, cute, and gentle giant into your home? Story
Hot Wheels SEEKS HIS FOREVER FAMILY who is committed to giving him nothing but happy days for the rest of his life. For a low adoption fee, you can bring home this $15,000 family member. A video of “Wheels” was shared showing him dragging his back end. The Right to Live Rescue took him into rescue. He was covered in fleas and had severe dragging wounds. He had back surgery with a 50/50 chance of success. Then, he had one of his broken back legs reset and plated. He started hydrotherapy and seemed to be doing well. Sadly, he developed a flesh-eating bacteria on his back legs causing one to be removed. He stayed at the Vet’s office for about 5-6 weeks while they worked to clear him of the infection and open another gaping wound in his remaining and plated rear leg. He has no idea he is different than the other dogs. He loves to go on walks in his wheelchair. He does zoomies around the yard and chases the others and even plays tug-of-war with a 112 pound lab/pittie/mutt foster brother. He loves to have his ears rubbed since he cannot scratch them himself. He loves to scoot through his splash pad on hot days and wade in his inflatable pool. He turns in circles like a top when he gets excited which is when he is getting fed or sees you come home. He can pee and poop on his own but he sometimes does that in his sleep or when he’s excited. He dribbles a bit. He has diapers and belly bands but they sometimes slide off because he does not have both legs. He is willing to travel with his wheelchair, his diapers, his belly bands, his toys, his elevated feeding stand and slow feed bowl (that does not really slow him down). Despite everything he’s been through, he is the happiest boy in the world. He would love to sit on a dog bed and chew a nylabone and watch to make sure you are looking at him. He has passed cats on the porch or street and not reacted to them. He may need a short introduction to any new fur siblings. He seems to know who he can pick on and who he needs to defer to. He will come with this cute gingerbread costume just in time for Christmas. https://www.facebook.com/reel/280549138140602 *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Story
From Bonnies Foster: She is an 11-12 month old, FIXED, black lab mix (not sure of the mix) and she is the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She thinks she's a lap dog, even though she's around 60 pounds . Every morning when I leave for work, she follows my car, running and jumping and just having a good time. When I get home from work, she runs out to meet me and is waiting outside of my car door in pure joy. When I step out, she sits down and leans against my legs, like her very own version of a hug. She loves running around and playing fetch, and is even starting to learn how to catch a frisbee! She absolutely adores running around with my other dogs and is so funny and playful. As she is still a pup, she needs a forever home that has someone that can dedicate time to her training and someone who is able to put in the time and dedication to her that she so truly deserves. Please help me find sweet Bonnie a forever home. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Hi there, I'm Lulu, and I am a sweet friendly girl who gets along with everyone. I’m a 2 year old lab mix, around 44lbs. I was brought in with my gal pal BooBoo and though we would love to be adopted together - it isn't necessary as I love all dogs. I am a typical lab in many ways; super sweet, love people, love treats and just want to be your best friend. I would love an active family cos us labs like to have fun! Does this sound perfect to you? Then hit me up! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption.
