Story
Name: Charlie  Age: 8 months Breed: Mixed  Gender: male Weight: 38lbs Good with kids: unsure Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: not fostered with any Current on vaccinations: yes Fixed: yes Foster location: Wisconsin Rapids  Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Adoption includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Bio: When we say rescue takes a village...we mean it. In Charlie's case it also took multiple states, coordination and 2 pilots!  A wonderful man happened to be in an Arkansas shelter at the right time and noticed sweet Charlie...sad, alone and confused. He saw the potential in Charlie and made an effort to help. He reached out to some of his contacts who then reached out to Our Pack. Charlie needed an advocate and thankfully found one. And while Charlie's story is a familiar one, he needed the right people to see his potential as Charlie is deaf.  His southern foster got him out, vaccinated, neutered and set up for success. He stayed with his rescuers at their home until arrangements were made and Charlie was cleared for travel. Charlie then made his way via private plane to Missouri by the very man that saved. There he was picked up by another volunteer pilot that flew him directly to his foster in Wisconsin Rapids.  We have learned that Charlie loves toys, chews and playing with other dogs. He likes to run, even if it is slightly slower than the resident dogs and a little more clumsy. He seems to be good on a leash and has a great start on potty training. He kennels well, eats his meals politely and takes treats nicely. He is a puppy who will need continued training and patience, but already has a good understanding of manners.  Charlie is young and while he may learn differently then the stereotypical dog, that doesn't make him any less eager or teachable. He has started to work on learning sign language, the routine of his foster home and how to just live and be a happy pup. We will update more on Charlie as we go along this journey with him.  Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based rescue. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. Preapproval applications for future adoption are welcome.November 29, 2025, 5:35 pm

Story
Cooper arrived as a transfer from one of our partner rescues. He was an owner surrender, but we don`t know too much more about him. As our volunteers start getting him out for walks and playtime, we`ll post more about him. He seems like a really nice guy, even if he forgets to sit when he`s just too happy.

Story
💎 Meet Dime Dime is a silly, energetic young pup who’s as smart as she is playful! Her favorite things in life are squeaky toys, zoomies, and being part of whatever her people are doing. With her shiny black coat, white paws, and speckled belly, she’s as beautiful as she is fun. Dime loves to play—her “parkour-style” zoomies inside and outside are pure comedy. She enjoys fetch, puzzle toys, and learning new tricks, and she’s already mastered “sit” and is working on “down,” “off,” and “come.” She’s very treat-motivated and loves training games that challenge her brain. Chewing is one of her favorite pastimes, and collagen chews are her go-to for quiet time. She’s an expert at de-stuffing toys but never eats the pieces, and she’ll happily let you take them away. With other dogs, Dime plays in a goofy, mouthy way, so a confident dog friend would be great—but young kids or shy cats might find her too energetic. She’s still working on leash manners and can be unsure outside of her familiar spaces, so a fenced yard and patient family will help her thrive. She’s crate-trained, sleeps through the night, and is doing great with potty training, especially when given a little structure and routine. Dime just wants to be near her people, play hard, and love harder. If you’re looking for a smart, joyful companion who will keep you laughing and active, Dime is your girl!
