Story
Lhasa Apso mixes are known to be gentle, loving, and happy to be your shadow. Meet Fiddle, a 2-year-old mix weighing in at 19 pounds. He has a medium length blonde coat. These mixes like to cuddle, hang out with you, and bark at the door if someone shows up. They are also smart. They learn tricks quickly, too. They are a people dog and therefore they typically, do not like to be left alone for long periods of time.Fiddle gets along with the adults and other dogs. It is not known if he has spent time with younger children or cats.Little is known about his previous life, so it is best to provide a refresher course in training. He is working on his house,j crate and leash training. He will need someone who would appreciate a young adult dog. He will need the right guidance mixed with consistency, repetition, and patience. Cheerful praise and lots of treats will go a long way in helping him master those daily routines. Daily walks will support leash skills as well as socialization skills. (It will also be an opportunity to find out what commands he knows). It will be a new world to him with all the new sights, smells, sounds, and people along his walk. A secure back yard will give him free time to play. At home he will benefit from mental stimulation in the form of activities and play toys. That will keep him from being bored. Fiddle has the potential to be a wonderful family companion. Are you willing to take on the task of helping him transition to a new life where he is loved and appreciated? If yes, read on.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Fiddle is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours.
