His owners could no longer care for him, and asked for a new home to be found. Ziggy is a very loving cat, used to being in a home. He's been a love at the Vet office and taken to all the recent transitions in his life. He is ready for a fresh start, new home. The elderly husband is having health issues and no one can take care of the cats. She loves people and is used to living with other cats. Tux Trimble-Maine Coon/DLH - male FIV+~2 yr. (Oct. 2025) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application Tux came to a small town Humane Society when in need of a new home, when found as a stray. He has been living in a foster home, having hanging out and looking forward to having a family again. His foster mom says he's a lovely boy! He's sweet and affectionate. He gets along well with her other cats, too. His adoption fee is $150 each , to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. Plea for help from Jonathan: “My friend and I took in several feral cats a while ago. Most are now socialized and many are bonded pairs/families. Since we are both experiencing severe health problems currently and a move from the area has become necessary, we can no longer care for the cats. We are looking for good homes for them.   We are located in Clinton, MD (southern PG County). The best method of reaching us is: zcathouse.md@gmail.com”   Mushmellow [a.k.a. 'Mush'] (NM, Brown Tabby?, DLH?/Maine Coon?, ~7+ years?) & Scout (NM, Black, DSH, ~6+ years?) Mush[mellow] never liked hanging out at the salad bowl, but his food bowl is his claim to fame and weight gain. Scout waits patiently for his turn. And even though Mush also hogs their bed, Scout still loves him and they always work it out. They are best buds for life! Two gentle giants who were found at our local Rite Aid, and are, thus, referred to as the "Rite Brothers". That said, we don't know whether they are siblings, or even related at all, though it is clear they are strongly bonded and have great affection for one another. Mushmellow was initially quite larger than Scout, so we believe there may be some age difference. Whatever the case, they are both big dudes who will need lots of exercise - along with a relatively strict diet. Mushmellow has a tendency to give some pretty strong 'love bites', but he means well. Meet Petra! 🩷🐾 Petra is a large female 7 yr old Maine Coone mix taken in by our rescue as an owner surrender. Petra is friendly to new people and enjoys the company of other cats, but would do well in a home by herself as well. Petra is a very large cat at about 20 lbs. Petra is spayed, vaccinated, & chipped, ready to find his her home! 🏡

Missy (f) is a beautiful Maine Coon mix who found herself living alone and in need of a new person to love when her senior, human dad passed away. She will take a minute to warm up to you but will quickly become your best friend. Missy is 5 years old and the perfect age if you are looking for a kitty who is playful but not high energy. She is talkative but not excessively. Missy also has perfect potty manners. Our gorgeous fluffy lady has lots of love to give to the lucky person or family who adopters her. We think Missy would do best in a quiet home as an only fur companion. ##2357057##
