This is a big beautiful docile Maine Coon. He was sadly relinquished to the rescue down in Fla when the owners young child’s was extremely allergic. He is fully vetted and has a sweet nature. He will come with his breeze litterbox system. He came up from Florida on April 20th in a diesel motorhome. He is being fostered in Thurmont, Md by the owner of the rescue who is a Vet Tech. Billy and Buttercup, what a cool looking pair!, lost their home a few years ago when their owner went to a Nursing Home. They found help from the local Humane Society and had a permanent foster home, or so they thought. Just a couple weeks ago, that foster home said they could no longer care for them and asked for them to be moved to an adoptive home. They are a bonded pair, devoted to each other and are looking for a home together. The cat's adoption fee is $100 EACH, to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. Grace is a gentle 10 year old tabby. She was adopted from the shelter 6 years ago. She was de-clawed by her previous owner, so needs an indoor environment. She prefers a quiet environment. Her previous owner stated she stopped using her litter box and was relinquished. We had no issues with her until about a year ago when our circumstances changed and we had to make frequent trips to care for an elderly parent and grandchildren. Grace has started peeing outside the litter box while we are gone and more recently when we return. If confined to a small space this behavior stops, but we cannot accommodate that for a long period of time. She is a beautiful cat and has been a good pet, but is currently in distress which is hard on everyone
