Story
https://foha.org/pet/betteboo2025 🐾 Bette Boo Bette Boo spent 11 years in the same home before losing her owner and the only environment she had ever known. After several months in foster care, she has settled into a steady routine and is showing adopters exactly who she is. During the day, Bette Boo naps in her bed and checks in every few hours by walking from room to room. She vocalizes as she moves, offering soft commentary while she follows her person through the house. In the evening, she seeks closer contact. At bedtime, she gently paws at your arm to be lifted under the covers, where she sleeps pressed alongside you for the night. She enjoys brushing and steady petting and tolerates handling without resistance. She uses the litter box consistently and keeps her space tidy. At mealtimes, she eats without guarding behavior and settles afterward. Bette Boo is currently in a foster home with a dog and remains confident in that dynamic. However, despite slow and thoughtful introductions, she continues to appear uneasy sharing space with another cat. For this reason, she will thrive as the only feline in the home, where she can fully relax and maintain her routine without competition. 🏡 The Right Home for Bette Boo Bette Boo will do best in a stable, predictable home where she can attach closely to her person. She seeks consistent proximity and is most comfortable when she knows where her human is throughout the day. As an 11-year companion cat, she is accustomed to being someone’s primary focus. She is looking for a household where she can resume that role and build a steady, one-on-one bond again. If you are looking for a cat who sleeps beside you, follows you through the house, and prefers connection over chaos, Bette Boo is ready for her next chapter. 📋 FOHA Adoption Policies and Process: https://foha.org/pet-adoption/adoption-policies/ 💰 ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES: Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies and FVRCP/distemper), diagnostic testing (including FIV/FeLV), any additional medical care recommended by our vet, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick prevention, and 1-month access to Petcademy for post-adoption support.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Toona was rescued from the cold along with an older cat from the same location. When he first arrived, he was a bit shy and unsure, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his playful and energetic personality begins to shine. He has beautiful markings with striking tiger stripes and incredibly soft fur, so distinctive that he could easily be mistaken for an Ocicat.  Toona does well with other cats and would benefit from having a feline companion in the home. Because he can be timid and a little skittish at first, he would do best in a calm household with older, considerate children who understand how to give him time and space to settle in.  Once he warms up, Toona is a gentle, playful boy who enjoys toys and will make a wonderful companion for a patient and loving family.   DNA Results: Breed Analysis We analyzed your cat's genome and compared it to the genomes of purebred cats in our reference panel. Story
Oreo is a handsome 8 year old DLH/maine coon mix who is loyal and loving. He prefers a calm, quiet, and slow-paced environment where he can spend hours curled up on his favourite person's lap or by their feet when he's not watching birds out the window or following them around the house like a silent shadow. Oreo is a quiet gentleman and rarely meows, but despite his quiet nature, still experiences the occasional zoomies in the evening. He would do best in a home without young children and dogs and while he is ok with other cats, he would prefer being your one and only.
