Pomegranate is bonded to his brother Persimmon and they must be adopted together. THey are currently available as a foster to adopt. These big burly boys were found outside, curled up in a tight ball together to try to keep their body heat between them. When they immediately walked up to their rescuer (a stranger), it was clear that they were WAY too friendly to be trying to survive in the Great Outdoors. As a bonded pair, these big boys do everything and go everywhere together. Their favorite activity is to sprawl out on the bed and particularly love it when a human joins them for pets. Although they have discovered that indoors they don't have to curl up so tightly, they do most frequently cuddle with each other. They are generally calm and quiet but also love to play with each other-usually in the morning or evening. A favorite game is hide and seek with one racing the other up and over the bed only to hide under the bed for a surprise attack. It is the best entertainment! Both these boys were neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and have tested negative for FIV/FeLV/Heartworm. Pomegranate is been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and his treatment has been keeping symptoms at bay. Both use their big litter boxes and Pomegranate prefers a pee pad at the bottom of his.
