She came from Mexico and is still learning to feel safe, so she can be shy at first. Once comfortable, she bonds deeply and is incredibly affectionate. She’s not fully house trained yet and would do best as the only pet, with a calm, patient, experienced owner. She’s a low-key, gentle dog with lots of potential in the right home—not for a first-time owner, but a wonderful companion for someone who understands sensitive dogs. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and she has a very calm and peaceful nature. She is extremely shy at first and will need a patient adopter who understands sensitive dogs and will give her the time she needs to feel safe. Once she feels comfortable, she is incredibly sweet and loving. Her ideal home would be a quiet house with a yard, preferably with another kind and confident dog who can help show her that the world is safe and help build her confidence. Because she is so shy, a calm household is very important. A home with adults only or older, quiet children would be best. Ojay must go to a home with another friendly, confident dog of a similar size. Having a canine companion helps him feel safe and gives him a role model for everyday dog life. A quieter household will suit him best, somewhere with a steady routine and not too much hustle and bustle. If there are kids in the home, they should be 12 or older and join a meet-and-greet so Ojay can make sure everyone passes the vibe check.
