He was hesitant to be handled by people as there were probably few he could trust in his past. Pearl is approximately 2 years of age, around 8 pounds, spayed fully vaccinated Maltese/havanese mix breed. She is crate trained but needs practice with potty and leash~ soon she will be a pro of all three!! She is affectionate, friendly and very loving. Pearl gets along well with other dogs adults (but is paired best with males) and children alike. Given her adaptability she should be able to learn your family’s routine rather quickly and become part of the gang in no time!!! Pearl was found on the streets of Tecate starving and severely matted from neglect. She is now flourishing under the loving care of a foster. (Sept 2025) Pearl has a lot of love to give and longs for a family who can provide her with the affection and patience she craves. She deserves a warm and loving home where she can feel cherished as a member of the family!!!
