Story
My previous owner must have fed me all the time so I ate all the time and now I need to get my svelte figure back with your help. I enjoy walking around at rescue, so I’m not a couch potato. I was in awful condition when I was rescued. My ears had handful of fur in them and I was pretty matted all over. I get along with everyone at rescue. I stay clear of the rowdy ones, but if they want to sit with me I’m good with that. I’m a good girl. I want a family that will keep me safe and I’ll reward you with lots and lots of love.

Story
Time to officially meet Mrs. Cashew (aka Tingi)! 🤎 Tingi is a 1 yr old , 6-pound little girl with a very difficult past. Because of what she’s been through, she’s extremely shy and still learning that the world can be a safe place. Considering her background, the progress she’s made in just one week has been remarkable. * She has started to trust me and now follows me everywhere, watching my every move. * Every time I leave, even if it’s only for five minutes, she greets me with kisses and hugs like I’ve been gone for years. * She’s doing well meeting my other dogs and even gets along with my cats. * She’s making progress with potty training—she had her first poop outside today! 🎉 * She’s still very nervous around people, especially children. I’ve introduced her to kids of different ages, but she usually chooses to sit in the corner with her back turned to everyone. 😂 * Potty training is definitely still a work in progress. Right after celebrating her first poop outside, she came inside and decided to leave me another “blessing.” 😂 * Crate training is also something we’re working on, and she still whines often. Sometimes it’s because she wants treats, sometimes she wants attention, and sometimes… I honestly think she just enjoys keeping me guessing. * She has no idea how to walk on a leash yet. The second she feels the slightest bit of pressure, she flops onto the ground and refuses to move. She has made it very clear that she would much rather stay in the yard than go for a walk. * While she generally gets along with other dogs, she did have one growling moment with the neighbor’s Shih Tzu but he was smelling to long...so we’re continuing to work on building her confidence and positive interactions. When Tingi first came to us, all she wanted to do was hide. She squeezed herself into places I didn’t even know a dog could fit. Seeing her slowly trade fear for trust has been incredibly rewarding, even though we still have a long road ahead. She’s far from a “finished” dog, but every little step forward is a huge victory for her. I can’t wait to see who this sweet little girl grows into and whose hands she falls into❤️ Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.

Story
• Rescue Story: Meet Tonki👋 In April 2025, a group of small dogs—believed to be victims of an illegal breeding operation—were found abandoned together on the streets of South Korea. Tonki was one of them. Now, he’s ready to leave his difficult past behind and begin a new chapter as a beloved member of a loving family. Having learned how to live happily with humans in his foster home, Tonki is patiently waiting for his forever home—where he’ll be cherished, protected, and loved the way he truly deserves. • Personality: Sweet, Friendly, Bright Tonki is a lovable, easygoing pup with a bright, happy energy. He’s incredibly affectionate and loves showing his humans just how much love he has to give! While he may need a little extra time to warm up to adult men, once he does, he becomes a loyal and devoted furry companion. • Affinity with - Dogs: Wonderful with other dogs! He’d do great as an only dog or as a second dog. - Cats: Not tested - Adults/Kids: Good with people, including kids / Needs a bit more time to warm up to adult men. • House Training: Fully housebroken - using pee pads indoors and going potty outside. • Walking Manners: Super gentle on leash and loves going for walks! • Bathing/Brushing: Tolerates both well. • Separation Anxiety: May howl briefly when first left alone, but once he settled, he relaxes and rests peacefully by himself. • Barks/Howls: Occasional barking when a male family member approaches suddenly. • Car Rides: Comfortable and calm • Appetite/Food Allergies: Big eater! / No food allergies found so far. • Likes/Dislikes: Likes to play with toys that make noise. / Not a fan of being lifted suddenly by a male family member • Shedding level (1~10): 1-2 • Health: Currently a healthy pup! He tested positive for heartworm when rescued, completed treatment successfully, and tested negative in Dec 2025. ----------- **Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Story
8 years old, weighing in at about 10lbs. Just a sweet little love! Lived in a home with 10 cats until mom had a fall and was unable to take care of everyone. He thinks he is part cats and has even spent the last few years eating cat food.  Now up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested negative and underwent a dental complete with a few extractions. He is now ready to start looking for a forever spot.  Benny is still full of energy and loves to play, he also has a quiet side where he could spend hours curled up on the top of the couch nearby. He walks well on leash.  adoption fee $300 includes spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms  .To fill out an application visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/generic ##2544990##
