Happy, loyal and active Bonded pair of Maltipoos looking for a Maltipoo experienced family.   Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or  https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Dog Laverne and Shirley are 18 mos to 2 yrs old 11 to 15 lb Maltipoos. Someone dumped this bonded pair of gals severely matted and full of fleas.  They are very happy now that they have been groomed.  They are in a foster home with another foo foo dog.  They are kinda shy and timid at first but bond to people.  They are crate trained and leash trained.  They use a doggie door to go into back yard that is securely fenced.  They love hanging out with people and on the furniture. This bonded pair will require a securely fenced yard and frequent grooming.    San Antonio area has over 800,000 homeless pets. Story
He is very energetic, happy and playful. Loving personality, loves to play with his toys and cuddle and be held. He is good with kids, other dogs, only been around bigger dogs so far but has a slight fear of cats, as the only one he was around was a little mean. Does well in an apartment but could use some yard space. He needs to be able to run/play his energy out. Crate trained, can sit, but hasn't learned other commands. Not used to the leash (he was afraid of it) but does ok when he has a harness and leash. He's curious about everything and a bit of a scaredy cat with unfamiliar things and places and sounds. He LOVES soft blankets, will cover himself up in it and drag it around with him. Loves eggs and bacon, peanut butter and watermelon(seedless of course). Kingston needs to get up to date on vaccines, he is not neutered. We acquired him from a friend and I ended up being allergic but held on because of my daughter and now she’s off to another state for college.

Story
Duke wasn’t the kind of dog who ever expected his world to change. He was loyal, steady, and happiest when lying at his owner’s feet, soaking up every gentle pat and quiet moment they shared. But when his owner became very sick, everything shifted. The house grew quieter. The routines faded. And one day, Duke was brought to the shelter — not because he wasn’t loved, but because his person could no longer care for him. At first, Duke didn’t understand. He waited by the kennel door, ears perked every time footsteps passed. He wasn’t sad so much as confused, trying to make sense of a world that suddenly felt too big. But the staff quickly learned something important about Duke: beneath his worried eyes is a heart overflowing with love. He leans into every gentle touch. He wags his tail when someone speaks softly. He watches people with a hopeful spark, as if he’s searching for the next person he’ll give his whole heart to. Duke isn’t starting over because he was unwanted — he’s starting over because someone loved him enough to make sure he’d be safe. Now he’s waiting for a new family who will give him the same devotion he’s always given so freely. And when that family finds him, Duke will be ready — tail wagging, heart open, eager to begin again.
