Roy’s Rescue Story
Roy’s life began with heartbreak. He and his three siblings were abandoned at just 2 months old — no mom, no help, no chance. At the same time, their rescuer had just been diagnosed with cancer. Even while fighting her own battle, she did not turn her back on the puppies. With the support of a friend, all four were placed for adoption.
Roy was adopted… and for 10 months, it seemed like he had found his happy ending. But after a divorce, the couple returned him — confused, unwanted, and unsure why he lost the only home he knew.
His original rescuer, still recovering, took him back without hesitation. She adored him, but she knew Roy deserved a forever family who would commit to him for life. That’s when she came to us.
Now Roy is ready for his true fresh start — a loving home where he will finally be cherished, safe, and included forever.
Currently in Mexico
Roy is waiting for a family committed to a 10-day trial so he can travel to Washington.
