Story
Duke wasn’t the kind of dog who ever expected his world to change. He was loyal, steady, and happiest when lying at his owner’s feet, soaking up every gentle pat and quiet moment they shared. But when his owner became very sick, everything shifted. The house grew quieter. The routines faded. And one day, Duke was brought to the shelter — not because he wasn’t loved, but because his person could no longer care for him. At first, Duke didn’t understand. He waited by the kennel door, ears perked every time footsteps passed. He wasn’t sad so much as confused, trying to make sense of a world that suddenly felt too big. But the staff quickly learned something important about Duke: beneath his worried eyes is a heart overflowing with love. He leans into every gentle touch. He wags his tail when someone speaks softly. He watches people with a hopeful spark, as if he’s searching for the next person he’ll give his whole heart to. Duke isn’t starting over because he was unwanted — he’s starting over because someone loved him enough to make sure he’d be safe. Now he’s waiting for a new family who will give him the same devotion he’s always given so freely. And when that family finds him, Duke will be ready — tail wagging, heart open, eager to begin again.

✅️Currently located in South Korea✅️ Meet Noah🤍 💙 Noah’s Account: @aki.noa.sushi 1. Health • Neutering/Spaying: Completed • Other: Microchipped; had bladder stone surgery and molar extraction. Fully blind in one eye due to cataracts. Experiences coughing when temperatures drop, requiring steroid medication if coughing occurs. Has partial hearing loss. All teeth except molars have been extracted, so he cannot eat hard treats. 2. Rescue Story • Noah was rescued from a breeding facility alongside Aji and Aki before Adogs officially formed. He was adopted, but after his adopter passed away suddenly in September 2024, Noah returned to Adogs. He is looking for a family to help him overcome his grief and begin a new chapter of life. 3. Personality & Habits • With People: Very affectionate and sweet, loves both strangers and familiar people, and often approaches first asking for pets. • With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs, both familiar and new friends. May show cute jealousy if another dog gets attention. • Separation Anxiety: Calm when left with Aki, though Aki has separation anxiety that affects Noah. If left with another dog or person, he waits quietly. • House Training: Fully pee pad trained (100% accuracy), though he prefers pooping outdoors. He tends to pee near the edge of the pad, so surrounding it with a fence or holder is helpful. • Hygiene/Grooming: Very calm and well-behaved during baths, drying, and brushing. • Walking on Leash: Walks well on a leash without pulling and keeps pace nicely. 4. Special Notes • May bark briefly when a stranger enters the room for the first time. In the evenings, he may bark for 5 minutes normally, or 20–30 minutes if he has extra energy. • Has a strong food drive and eats quickly when excited for meals, so feeding slowly and calmly is recommended.

Story
✨ Meet Emma — Proof that joy can survive anything ✨ If you want to meet a dog whose soul defies everything she’s been through… meet Emma. Found as a stray in Mexico with only patches of fur left after severe mange, this little girl is living, wagging proof that happiness lies within, no matter the circumstances. At just 3.5 years old, Emma has already endured more than most dogs ever will. People walked past her. People looked away. Some still do — because her skin still has a few bald spots, and that’s all they see. But what they miss is everything that makes Emma extraordinary: 💛 The way she lights up a room with her fast, joyful spins when it’s mealtime 💛 How she leaps with pure happiness every time she sees you 💛 The gentle way she tucks herself against your side, asking for nothing but love 💛 Her resilience, her softness, her unbroken spirit Emma is still shy and crouches when someone approaches too quickly or when loud noises remind her of a past she should’ve never had. Only she knows what people did to her before she was rescued… but even after all of that, she chose to trust again. And now she deserves the best home in the whole wide world. One filled with patience, kindness, tenderness, and someone who understands that healing takes time — but loving her comes easy. Emma is safe. She is loved. And she is ready for her forever person. If you see her heart before her scars, you’ll never find a more loyal, grateful, or beautiful companion.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Evie is a darling young girl.  She came to us via a local puppy miller, very pregnant.  Her mama duties are done, she's vetted, we've gotten to know her outside of being a mama and it's her time to be someone's baby. She is sweet, fairly active and good with dogs.  She loves affection and attention but doesn't quite understand this lap dog stuff and won't stay there long.  She looks like a perfect mix of toy poodle and maltese but she's the wrong color.  There was a havanese with the same coloring so she may have some of that too.  Her coat is maltese fine but curlier and her tail curls like a cinnamon roll, tight and sits straight up on her back.   She is still learning to be a house pet.  She is not house broken nor crate trained.  If left too long without trips outside, she will soil in the home or her crate.  She doesn't necessarily use the provided puppy pads either.    Her new family must be able to continue to help her with these things.  She is not leash trained either so that will need to be worked on.  And this also means, a securely fenced yard is required, no exceptions.  No younger children in the home either.   We have her on a good grain free, chicken free food (as all maltese should be on due to them being prone to allergies with both) and she's doing great.  She's been groomed twice now, once the day we got her and recently before her spay.  She was a matted, stinky, long nails and flea infested girl when we got her.  We never want her in that condition again.  Please provide your groomers name and phone number on our adoption application if you would like to apply for her.   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 18, 2026, 10:13 pm
