He also loves play time, is very food-motivated, and knows some basic commands, like: sit, stay, shake, down, and come. Many dog sitters have even mentioned he’s one of their favorite dogs to care for. Zeus is recommended for households with either one or two adults without children or other pets. All of Zeus’ materials will be included, such as: remaining food and prescriptions, toys, leash, treats, bed, crate, and doggie bags. Story
Adam is an 80-pound silly, calm and cuddly boy doing so well with his amazing\ foster who says her favorite qualities are his squishy, loveable face, his soft fur, and his smile. Adam walks well on leash and is eager to "sit" for his dinner. He gets along great with other dogs. He is calm, playful and has good manners and is not overly curious about cats. He is low energy but really enjoys going for walks and being let out to run and explore in a fenced area. Adam is protective of his family and property and, with proper introductions, is the most loyal and gentle guy! He needs an adopter who can guide him with boundaries and offer lots of socialization opportunities. Everyone who meets Adam falls in love with him! He's just waiting for the right one who's ready to provide him a stable and loving home. If that's you, please submit an application and a volunteer will be in touch! (HD)

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Talia is a gorgeous large-breed puppy with a big future ahead of her—and she'll need a family that's ready to help her grow into the amazing dog she's meant to be. She has moderate to high energy and thrives with plenty of exercise, playtime, and multiple walks each day to keep both her body and mind engaged. She's already house-trained, loves companionship, and enjoys spending time with her people. Talia is also dog-friendly and would likely enjoy having a canine companion to play with or simply share her home. Like all large-breed puppies, Talia is still learning about the world and will benefit from continued training, socialization, consistency, and positive reinforcement as she grows. She'll do best with adopters who understand that raising a giant puppy is a long-term commitment and are excited to invest the time and patience she'll need to become a well-mannered adult. If you're looking for an active, affectionate companion and are ready for the rewards and responsibilities of a large-breed puppy, Talia is ready to meet you. (AO) Estimated adult weight is 75+ pounds, no guarantees.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Ninety-five pound Hazel is new to us, but one of our fabulous volunteer took her on a pack walk and reported: “I’d describe her as a gentle giant, sweet and playful. Leans in for pets. Great on leash, doesn’t react to barking dogs. She was very interested in watching kids at the park so she might like kids, but there’s no info to back that up. She walked really well with Spuds and Camilla, and she's friends with Zeke, so I'd say she's dog friendly.” More info coming soon!

Romeo

Mastiff

Male, 7 yrs 2 mos
Palo Alto, CA
Size
(when grown) X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more
Details
Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Romeo is very sweet 6 year old boy but the vets think he may be younger. He would love to be a family dog and definitely wants to find his forever home, but can be protective of his people and his space. That being said once he knows you are part of the family he listens very well and knows many commands, sit, stay, down, shake, wait. He is slow to warm up to new people but once he has been introduced to you he is a gentle giant and big couch potato that loves to cuddle. He also really enjoys going for a ride in the car. It is not recommended to have young kids due to his size. He is good on the leash and knows many commands but needs someone that is not afraid of his size and can properly handle him. Experienced adopter with larger breeds is a must. No other dogs or animals in the household and not a good candidate for crates.
