Adam is a 65-pound calm and cuddly boy who is doing well with his amazing foster. He now walks on a leash and is eager to "sit" for his dinner. He gets along great with female dogs and is not overly curious about cats. He is a protective boy over his family and property, but when given proper introductions, he is the most loyal and gentle guy you'll ever meet. He needs an adopter who can guide him with boundaries and offer lots of socialization opportunities.

Thriving in foster care, he's playing respectfully with resident dog, cuddling sweetly with his humans and has been gentle with their child. Bizkit had a tough start in life, but you’d never know it from his joyful spirit. He has a healed paw injury that leaves one wrist at a slight angle, but it doesn’t slow him down or cause him pain. He’s all wiggles and puppy enthusiasm! Smart and eager to learn, Bizkit responds well to positive reinforcement and gentle correction. As a growing large-breed puppy, he’ll need continued training, socialization, and a committed adopter ready for the time and energy that comes with raising a large, strong dog. Do you like BIG dogs? She-Ra may be your girl! She is a female Mastiff mix, who is approximately seven years old, and currently weighs 93 pounds. Despite her size, she is a lower-energy pup, who enjoys going for walks, but is mostly happy to hang out and just be by your side! She was brought to our shelter on 11/17/25 after being found in unincorporated Livermore. She hasn't been reclaimed by her previous person, so she's now looking for a new home! She has been vaccinated, spayed, and micro-chipped. She-Ra is dog-selective, which is common amongst adult dogs, and means that she may appreciate some dogs more than others. If you already have another dog at home, we'll ask you to bring them to meet her too, prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). Her spay surgery has been sponsored by our friends at the Tri-Valley Animal Rescue! She-Ra qualifies for Senior Sunday! Adopt her on a Sunday and we'll waive her adoption fee!

The staff at the shelter think he is probably potty trained already, and on top of that, he loves treats and pets and proudly shows off his cues like “sit” and “down” like the good boy he is.
