Story
WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hi! My name is Tommy! ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL? I’m a boy! 💙 HOW OLD ARE YOU? Somewhere between two and three years old. WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I am a big, beautiful Mastiff mix. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? About 100 pounds WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I’m tan with a black mask and it looks like I’m wearing eyeliner. I am a stunningly handsome gentleman, if I do say so myself! 😍 WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? It is safe to say I am not picky. I will eat anything you offer, but I also understand that it is important to watch my weight due to my size and the pressure on my joints, so I shouldn’t overindulge! 😊 WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I’m a little timid toward new things and people, which is pretty typical of my breed. I have been told that I am a little bit like a headstrong teenager who needs to be given boundaries to understand that I can’t jump up on people. If I do jump up, I am responsive to gentle corrections and I am trainable if you have patience with me. DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: My perfect day consists of food, naps, a nice walk, and lots of playtime with my doggy friends. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? All of them, but especially my bones, like a Nylabone, Benebone or a good sturdy Kong. 🦴 DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I am a smart boy! I know sit, shake and down. I also know where my bed is if you tell me to go there. I’m working on stay. 🤩 WHAT SCARES YOU? I am uncomfortable with strangers in my house and I do not do well with lots of people and activity like parties. I prefer quiet and not many people coming and going. If there is a lot of activity, I am happy to hang out in a safe space, like a crate, with a yummy bone or treat-filled Kong toy. HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? I need to be in a home without children, neither in residence nor visiting. Kids are unpredictable and don’t understand boundaries. I get nervous when kids get in my space and that is just not a situation you want to put me OR a child in! DO YOU LIKE CATS? No cats for me…🐱 HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I love, love, love other dogs. 🐶 IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? Oh, I love to lay on the couch next to my human. I am happy to do whatever you like to do. A nice quiet night hanging out at home is pretty much my idea of heaven. HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? I’m a perfectly healthy boy! 😁 WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I dig my crate. It’s like a man cave! WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? Also in my crate! 😴 DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? I love walks! I’m very well-mannered on leash. 🦮 DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? I know I mentioned this before in the earlier questions about my personality and my fears, but I want to make sure to explain myself clearly. I am SUCH a great guy, but I need someone who is experienced with large breed dogs that can give me the structure and support I need to live a peaceful, happy life. If I get mouthy when I get stressed or excited, I need you to understand that I am not being aggressive, but I do need to be given proper guidance to settle down. I don’t want kids coming around me when I have a toy or a bone, I don’t want to be overwhelmed with lots of people loudly partying around me, and I don’t want strange people coming in and out of my space making me feel insecure. If I am in a quiet, low-traffic home with one or two favorite humans (and a dog or two would be cool too) loving me, I will be the best boy you could ever want. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? Yes I am! DO YOU LIKE WATER? I was able to play with the hose before a bath one time, that was a lot of fun! And bath time was so relaxing-I’ll do spa day anytime! As for sprinklers…I’m not sure about them yet. They’re a little intimidating.💦 WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE? I don’t really remember any of that. Because life is so wonderful now, it’s about moving forward and not looking back. Now I am really looking forward to finding my forever family who understands my large breed temperament and will keep me in a safe environment. I really am worth it… I promise! 💖 ⭐️TOMMY’S ADOPTION FEE IS $300⭐️ If you are interested in TOMMY please jump on our website and fill out an adoption application - www.norcalbullybreedrescue.org At this time we are asking for adopters to be in the Sacramento and IMMEDIATE surrounding areas. Story
Charlie was born on August 26, 2020. He was given to us as a puppy in November 2020. We love Charlie as he is sweet and loving, however, we cannot keep him any longer as my husband has allergies that have been getting worse. Charlie was a house pet for 2 years but the last year or so he has been outside in his dog house as my husband cant no longer deal with his crippling allergies. We love Charlie and we were waiting for someone we knew to take him so that we could visit him, but we no longer want him to wait. We would want him to find a someone that will love him as much as we do or even more. He is an amazing animal that has so much love to give

Story
I have a Cane Corso and English Mastiff that mated. It was accidental. We chose to keep two of the female puppies and they do not get along. Demona who my husband has nicknamed Taco is very sweet with us. She gets along with her mother and father but she has been in two fights with her sister now. I'm not sure who is starting the fights...it would be better and safer for us to find her a loving home. She's good with kids. Very sweet dog.

Story
Zoey is a gorgeous huge mastiff/pitty mix. She is amazing with people and her previous home she lived with kids and a small dog. Zoey can be timid and nervous with other big dogs but is learning to work through that. UPDATE: ZOEY IS A SPECTACULAR DOG. The amazing intermountain mannered mutts took zoey in and she completed 30 days of training, has gone agility courses, dock diving classes, and is going to a dog show. She needs an amazing adopter that will continue to allow her amazing abilities to shine. This is not a dog that deserves to be a couch potato, she WANTS TO DO AMAZING THINGS and live life to the fullest with adventure! Because of amazing people, we are asking our animal lover supporters and pitty advocates to help us sponsor training for dogs like her. Every cent counts. davispetrescue@gmail.com
