🚨 CHARMING CHANCE -FINAL PLEA SURVIVOR LOOKING FOR HIS "FOREVER" 🚨Foster Home in Elk Grove/Sacramento County. 📞 Call 774-641-1955 or email SacCaninePlacementAssistance@gmail.com for more info or an adoption application.❤️ Chance's Fosters LOVE him but cannot keep him. ❤️🌟 Meet Chancellor (aka Chance)! This one-year-old puppy is full of life, love, and smarts, and he is ready to find the perfect active family. At about 80 lbs, he's equal parts energy and couch potato.❤️🌟Chance was saved from the Bradshaw shelter as a final plea dog—meaning he was running out of time! His foster parents (who saved him) say he is a GREAT dog, but they just adopted another dog and cannot keep him permanently. Now, this handsome boy is looking for a home to call his own!❤️🌟 Why you’ll love Chance:What's not to love?Smarty Pants: Trained in sit, stay, lie down, and touch hands. He recently attended a dog training class with Daack Pack trainers. Easy Keeper: Housebroken and crate-trained.Health Verified: Fully vaccinated, neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped.Personality: Lovable lug. He loves playing with toys, running around, and napping.🏡 The Perfect Home: Chance would thrive in an active home that can take him on adventures but also appreciates a good couch snuggle. Although he's done just fine in the foster home with their senior couch potato female dog, he may do best as your one-and-only pet, or with a solid/social female. ❤️ He has done very well with kids 8 yrs and older. He might be too exuberant for the younger kiddos.🎥 VIDEO (with people when he was at shelter): https://youtube.com/shorts/yLRlEmp-D6c?feature=share🎥 VIDEO (play yard when he was at shelter) Note that Chance was intact at the time of this video. He has been neutered since April 2026.)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32kh0heQ7Cs📍 Located in Elk Grove, CA.📞 Contact his foster mom to learn more: 774-641-1955 or email SacCaninePlacementAssistance@gmail.com for an adoption application. Please share to help this final plea survivor find his happily ever after! 🐾❤️PS The box for "good with dogs?" you can only say yes or no. Like many dogs, Chance is on the spectrum, he's leash reactive on walks. He is fine with senior foster sister.

Story
No Greek Myth, Just a Really Great Dog—Come Meet Herc. He is our hero. He came into the shelter as Hercules, but since we already had another dog by that name, he became Herc.Everyone who meets Herc seems to fall in love with him, and it's easy to see why. He has a huge heart and playful spirit and is just looking for someone to love. He does pull a bit on leash, but with a little training and consistency, he'll be absolutely legendary. You don't have to complete the Twelve Labors of Hercules to earn his love... just give him a forever home. I have a feeling he'll become the hero of someone's story.Come meet Herc and see for yourself why this gentle giant steals hearts wherever he goes. Every hero deserves a happy ending. Maybe you are the one to give it to him...Make an appointment to meet our strong man through yoloshelter.org/dogs, or email adopt@yoloshelter.org.August 31, 2026, 9:26 am

Story
Grizelda is a 5 year old, 75 pound mastiff mix looking for her forever home! This sweet girl loves belly rubs, making new friends, chasing toys, and zooming happily through the grass. She is also a sucker for a nice sun bathing session! She’s a smart cookie who enjoys puzzle feeders and other activities that challenge her mind as well!Grizelda has a bright, friendly personality and adores everyone she meets! However, she can be a little head-shy and sensitive to stern voices, so she’s looking for a patient, gentle home where she can feel safe and build confidence at her own pace. In return, she’ll reward you with love, loyalty, and plenty of joyful moments. Her ideal home will provide both mental and physical enrichment, along with lots of kindness and affection. If you’re ready to give Grizelda the comfort and care she deserves, she just might be your perfect match!Grizelda will need to return to us at a later date for a procedure called an FHO (femoral head ostectomy), which will help address her current orthopedic condition and improve her long-term comfort and mobility. In the meantime, we feel it’s very beneficial for her to begin settling into a home environment. Building a bond with her adopters ahead of surgery can make a big difference in reducing stress and supporting a smoother recovery process afterward. To help prepare her for surgery and recovery, we recommend starting gentle PROM (passive range of motion) exercises at home on her unaffected (“good”) leg. This will help her get used to handling and movement, which will be an important part of her rehabilitation after surgery. Our team is happy to demonstrate these exercises and answer any questions so you feel confident doing them.We will coordinate closely with you regarding timing for her return, surgery, and post-operative care.Grizelda`s adoption fee has been sponsored in memory of Miles of Smiles!I don`t have a history with dogs and may do well with yours with a proper introduction.I don`t have a history with cats and may do well with yours with a slow introduction. I am looking for a home with teens and adults only.
