Story
Zoey is a gorgeous huge mastiff/pitty mix. She is amazing with people and her previous home she lived with kids and a small dog. Zoey can be timid and nervous with other big dogs but is learning to work through that. UPDATE: ZOEY IS A SPECTACULAR DOG. The amazing intermountain mannered mutts took zoey in and she completed 30 days of training, has gone agility courses, dock diving classes, and is going to a dog show. She needs an amazing adopter that will continue to allow her amazing abilities to shine. This is not a dog that deserves to be a couch potato, she WANTS TO DO AMAZING THINGS and live life to the fullest with adventure! Because of amazing people, we are asking our animal lover supporters and pitty advocates to help us sponsor training for dogs like her. Every cent counts. davispetrescue@gmail.com

I am a big goofball! I don't know my size, so I shouldn't be for children under 10 years of age since it is to easy for me to knock a child down with just a tail wag! I love food! and I love to do fun activities outdoors and would be a fun hiking or trail buddy! I want to be someones best bud! Despite being abused, someone poured acid on me to hurt me! I still have a smile on my face. My scars might make me look scary, but I promise I am a gentle soul! we highly recommend training classes to help better understand the canine-human connection and create a positive connection for correction and reward during a young dogs crucial training and socialization period. █ 1 █ Must complete an application as the first step https://form.jotform.com/81702264428152 █████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ We make no guarantee about the compatibility of a dog/cat with the other people in your household or with your animals. Story
Hubba Bubba is a gentle giant and complete lovebug. He is potty trained, doing great with kennel training, has not been destructive, rarely jumps up and gets along great with other dogs. He is a complete lovebug, gives big kisses, follows you everywhere in the house (but does need to be reminded not to crawl into anyone`s lap.) Bubba is very trainable, smart and sensitive, walks nicely on a leash, and will do anything for a treat. He is going to bond deeply with his people and be a great lifelong companion. We do not believe he would be well suited to a house with livestock or outdoor cats, as his prey instinct is strong.

Story
Tonka is a 2.5-yo mastiff-German shepherd mix, and 110 lbs of fluff'n for the lovin'. Recently, our 1 year old started walking, and while she has never tried to bite him, she growls if he gets too close. She is, however, great with kids who are a little older and know how to give dogs space. Tonka loves to be loved, play fetch, and tug of war. She has primarily been an indoor girl but loves to go for runs, investigate the scents of the neighborhood, and patrol the fence line in the backyard like a good guard dog. She's potty trained and knows basic commands but could use some more training. She was separated from her mother at only a few days old and wasn't properly weened, which creates some behavioral quirks, but overall, she's the sweetest girl. Tonka made our lives so much fuller-- she taught our 10-yo dog to play again, she was my wife's pregnancy bestie, and she has so much love to give. If you are interested in the biggest, drooliest, sweetest girlie, look no further :).

Story
WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hi! My name is Tommy! ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL? I’m a boy! 💙 HOW OLD ARE YOU? Somewhere between two and three years old. WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I am a big, beautiful Mastiff mix. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? About 100 pounds WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I’m tan with a black mask and it looks like I’m wearing eyeliner. I am a stunningly handsome gentleman, if I do say so myself! 😍 WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? It is safe to say I am not picky. I will eat anything you offer, but I also understand that it is important to watch my weight due to my size and the pressure on my joints, so I shouldn’t overindulge! 😊 WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I’m a little timid toward new things and people, which is pretty typical of my breed. I have been told that I am a little bit like a headstrong teenager who needs to be given boundaries to understand that I can’t jump up on people. If I do jump up, I am responsive to gentle corrections and I am trainable if you have patience with me. DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: My perfect day consists of food, naps, a nice walk, and lots of playtime with my doggy friends. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? All of them, but especially my bones, like a Nylabone, Benebone or a good sturdy Kong. 🦴 DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I am a smart boy! I know sit, shake and down. I also know where my bed is if you tell me to go there. I’m working on stay. 🤩 WHAT SCARES YOU? I am uncomfortable with strangers in my house and I do not do well with lots of people and activity like parties. I prefer quiet and not many people coming and going. If there is a lot of activity, I am happy to hang out in a safe space, like a crate, with a yummy bone or treat-filled Kong toy. HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? I need to be in a home without children, neither in residence nor visiting. Kids are unpredictable and don’t understand boundaries. I get nervous when kids get in my space and that is just not a situation you want to put me OR a child in! DO YOU LIKE CATS? No cats for me…🐱 HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I love, love, love other dogs. 🐶 IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? Oh, I love to lay on the couch next to my human. I am happy to do whatever you like to do. A nice quiet night hanging out at home is pretty much my idea of heaven. HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? I’m a perfectly healthy boy! 😁 WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I dig my crate. It’s like a man cave! WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? Also in my crate! 😴 DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? I love walks! I’m very well-mannered on leash. 🦮 DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? I know I mentioned this before in the earlier questions about my personality and my fears, but I want to make sure to explain myself clearly. I am SUCH a great guy, but I need someone who is experienced with large breed dogs that can give me the structure and support I need to live a peaceful, happy life. If I get mouthy when I get stressed or excited, I need you to understand that I am not being aggressive, but I do need to be given proper guidance to settle down. I don’t want kids coming around me when I have a toy or a bone, I don’t want to be overwhelmed with lots of people loudly partying around me, and I don’t want strange people coming in and out of my space making me feel insecure. If I am in a quiet, low-traffic home with one or two favorite humans (and a dog or two would be cool too) loving me, I will be the best boy you could ever want. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? Yes I am! DO YOU LIKE WATER? I was able to play with the hose before a bath one time, that was a lot of fun! And bath time was so relaxing-I’ll do spa day anytime! As for sprinklers…I’m not sure about them yet. They’re a little intimidating.💦 WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE? I don’t really remember any of that. Because life is so wonderful now, it’s about moving forward and not looking back. Now I am really looking forward to finding my forever family who understands my large breed temperament and will keep me in a safe environment. I really am worth it… I promise! 💖 ⭐️TOMMY’S ADOPTION FEE IS $300⭐️ If you are interested in TOMMY please jump on our website and fill out an adoption application - www.norcalbullybreedrescue.org At this time we are asking for adopters to be in the Sacramento and IMMEDIATE surrounding areas. Story
Pepper is a very playful dog! She loves playing fetch outside with the kids, she is great with kids and loves being with people and other dogs. Pepper is 2 years old and a pure bread English Mastiff and a beautiful dog. It breaks my heart to give her up but my job will be relocating and requires me to work longer hours and travel and leaves little time for me to take care of Pepper and give her the love and attention she deserves. We are not looking to be compensated. We just want Pepper to go to a good home where she has a family that has time to play with her and walk her regularly.
