Kingston is our distinguished and slightly older gentleman. He came to us as a stray, so his background is unknown. We learned that he loves to run and play in the yard. He is sweet but strong. He is getting better at leash walking. He was in a foster home briefly and decided he doesn't want to share his home with cats. His foster said he was guarded with the men he met. He has been reactive to the dogs here in the shelter, so he needs to be the one and only pet in the home. Kingston needs a home where he can curl up on the couch or a nice doggy bed and enjoy the day.

Hello interested Adopter. My name is Lilith, but my foster fam always calls me "Momma". You see back in October '24 a foster said "Yes" to not only me...but my week old babies as well! MVPC saved our lives. I had wonky legs at intake, but everyone hoped and thought that crate rest with my babies would help. Well, come to find out, I'm just wonky. I don't remember how old I am, but I did have these babies later in life. After visiting the vet it was determined that I have hip dysplasia in the back and a wonky elbow in the front. This combination makes amputation of my front leg impossible. I will always need to remain on joint supplements. MVPC sees that I am a happy girl who has lots of love to give. I seem to be pain free for now, so I am now up for adoption. I would do best with a family who is used to senior dog issues. I am currently fostered in a home with male and female dogs of all shapes, sizes and energy levels. After years of neglect and countless litters of puppies, I'm looking for a sweet retirement home. I can't wait to meet you! Hello, and welcome to my bio! My name is Kateri, but all my friends just call me Kat. I'm so happy to be here at MVPC, and I'm twice the girl I was when I arrived. Literally! You see, I came in as a 50 lb shutdown bag of skin and bones. Life had not been good. But just look at me now! I think things turned out pretty well. I'm now a 95 lb chunk of silly. I WUVS my people and truly believe that I am a lap dog. Belly rubs are just the best and are a requirement to adopt me. I also enjoy the company of other calm dogs but wouldn't mind if I'm your one and only. I am working on learning all my manners, and finishing up the housebreaking thing, but my foster parents say I can be a little stubborn and hard headed. Well yeah, I'm a Mastiff mix. DUH! I'm good in my crate, but don't mind letting you know when it's time to be out. A girl needs her snuggles you know. If you are in the market for a lovey, silly big girl, and are willing to help me continue to learn and grow, I would love to meet you.
