Story
This is Squid. He is a five year old English Mastiff. I am unsure how he would do around any new pets or children he isn't aquatinted with, but he does share a home with a senior dog, and child. He is house trained, crate trained, but not so much on a leash. He has a pretty laid back nature and I am hoping he finds a good home that will give him as much love as he has here.

Story
Meet the "Udge" pups! These pups, named with words rhyming with their Momma Mudge's name, were born in their foster home on April 20th, 2026.  Their mom is a 95 pound Bullmastiff mix, making these guys a perfect mix of Bullmastiff and adorable!  This adorable trio will likely grow up to be large to extra large pups. At 9 weeks old, they are already weighing between 16 and 20 pounds each!  The pups have adorable loose skin and Mastiff - like wrinkles that are sure to make anyone ooh and ahh!  As they were born in their foster home, the Udge pups have had a lot of socialization!  The pups have lived in a home with other dogs, have met cats and have been handled daily by children.  They love to run and play in the yard, chasing their human foster children and then plop down for a good nap infront of the tv.  While they have not started potty training yet, they do show signs of knowing where to go to the bathroom, so their foster family thinks that potty training will come relatively easy to them!   These sweet puppies are ready for their forever families to help them grow into their silly, sweet personalities! If they seem like a fit to you - apply today!  Their adoption fees are $400 each. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
BONDED PAIR WITH LUTHER (https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/37838939-cincinnati-ohio-labrador-retriever-mix). Lenny is a very sweet "gentle giant" who loves a good lean to show you he loves you. We love our Lenny so much, but since we had our 2 kids we have not been able to give our pups the attention they deserve. Lenny is a big guy and is slightly blind, so walks slowly and takes a while to get the lay of the land. He's a big couch potato otherwise, and loves to get pets and snuggles. Lenny is great with other dogs and kids, but does tend to be shy with other dogs and given we adopted him from SPCA, has some anxiety before he feels comfortable. Because he is shyer and more timid, we'd love to keep Lenny with his older brother, Luther (also listed on adoptapet), so please consider if you can take both pups home to a loving home!

Story
❤️ Meet Bandit! ❤️Bandit is a handsome 5-year-old large mixed-breed dog who weighs about 72 pounds. We think he may have some Mastiff and Boxer in his family tree, but without a DNA test, your guess is as good as ours! After spending the past several years as a beloved family companion, Bandit is once again looking for a home due to changes in his family's circumstances—not because of anything he did. Thanks to those years in a home, we know exactly what a wonderful dog he is.Bandit is the definition of a gentleman. Calm, affectionate, and easygoing, he's happiest when he's simply spending time with his people. Whether he's relaxing indoors in the air conditioning, strolling politely by your side on a walk, or soaking up pets and attention, Bandit is content just being part of the family. One of Bandit's greatest strengths is how wonderful he is with children. His former family describes him as incredibly patient and gentle, happily accepting hugs, pets, and all the attention kids have to offer. We've seen that same gentle nature at our adoption events. Although he was a little shy when he first arrived, it didn't take long for his friendly personality to shine. Volunteers quickly discovered why Bandit has become such a favorite—his calm, gentle nature, willingness to listen, and easygoing personality make him a joy to spend time with.. He's happy to meet new people, enjoys learning, walks beautifully on leash, and is such a good sport that he'll even patiently wear silly hats while everyone smiles and laughs! Bandit has done well with other dogs and has enjoyed playing with several Boxer friends over the years. He has excellent house manners, is treat motivated, already knows "sit," and is happily working on learning "paw," making him a fun partner for anyone who enjoys teaching new tricks.Like many dogs, Bandit isn't a fan of fireworks or thunderstorms, and he does have seasonal grass allergies that are easily managed with daily vitamins. Otherwise, he's an easy companion who is ready to settle into family life once again. Bandit's only requirement is a home without cats. If you've been looking for a calm, well-mannered companion with a heart as big as he is, Bandit may be the perfect match. He's already proven himself to be a loving family dog and is ready to begin his next chapter with a new family to call his own.Apply to meet Bandit at caninecollective.org.
