This 1.5-year-old miniature poodle mix weighs just 12 pounds and is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate.Esher is great with other small dogs, but larger ones are a little intimidating for him. He's a bit shy with new people, but after some treats and and a little patience, his happy, active, funny personality comes out. Esher would do best in a home with a companion dog and a younger active family. He has a lot of energy and enjoys both short strolls and longer walks, especially when he gets to explore by your side. He loves toys, fetch, enjoys car rides, and is just as happy snuggling up as he is heading out for an adventure.Esher is pretty good on the leash and enjoys exploring with his person. In foster, his family is 2 older small dogs, a playful pit bull and a corgi mix. Missy is one of two dogs that were abandoned in a taxi cab and then dropped off at Jelly's Place. She is initially shy and guarded, but once you gain her trust she can't get enough of you. Missy loves cuddles, being next to her person, and playing with her ball. She is house & crate trained, and is working on leash walking. She must be kept on a leash if out in an unfenced area. She is not fond of people in general and will need some work on that. she gets along with other small dogs given time. She was extremely matted, and one of her eyes was completely covered and could not be saved, but she’s on her way to receiving the care she needs, including veterinary treatment to remove the damaged eye. Despite the hardships she’s faced, Cashmere has a gentle, loving spirit that shines through. This sweet girl is quiet, soft-spoken, and moves through the world with a calm, thoughtful presence. She’s low-energy and enjoys relaxing in a safe, comfortable space, making her perfect for a home that can offer patience, love, and understanding. Cashmere is shy at first and needs time to warm up to new people and environments, but once she trusts you, she becomes a devoted and affectionate companion. Cashmere is family-friendly and gets along well with other dogs. Her playstyle is submissive, and she has a soft mouth, showing just how gentle and considerate she can be. She responds wonderfully to gentle, affection-based training and handles corrections gracefully, proving she’s smart and eager to learn. We adopted our miniature poodle from her previous owner when she was about five years old. From the moment she came into our lives, she became family. Over the past seven years, we’ve given her a stable, loving home where she has been cared for, trained, and deeply cherished. She is now a senior dog—fully potty trained, gentle, and calm, with a lower energy level that comes naturally with age. As she’s gotten older, her needs have changed. She thrives on companionship and struggles when left alone for long periods. Bella's a great little senior dog. She mostly minds her business and sleeps a lot. She gets excited around her evening mealtime and still enjoys a walk around the block. Bella is 16 years old. Doesn't have major health issues. But shows age-related signs of a little dementia. She would be happy in a house with other people and pets, but would have difficulty around small children. The pictures are recent and show her freshly groomed. She is otherwise a curly furball!
