Story
Missy is one of two dogs that were abandoned in a taxi cab and then dropped off at Jelly's Place. She is initially shy and guarded, but once you gain her trust she can't get enough of you. Missy loves cuddles, being next to her person, and playing with her ball. She is house & crate trained, and is working on leash walking. She must be kept on a leash if out in an unfenced area. She is not fond of people in general and will need some work on that. she gets along with other small dogs given time. Missy will be spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated as part of the adoption process. If interested in meeting this sweet girl, please complete an application at www.jellysplace.org. Note: Missy is in a foster home so is available to meet by appointment only.

Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving on 6/14/25 to NorCal and OR. Surrounding states will be added to our route if needed ☺️ We would love to add Yoko to our trip for the right home 💕 Meet Yoko ❤️ She is a 2 year old pomapoo. (Pomeranian/poodle.) she weighs 8.8 lbs. Yes, she is full grown and at a very healthy weight. She is naturally petite 💕 She definitely has the poodle coat and once it comes in full, it has a beautiful curl to it. Her ears, are all Pomeranian 🥹 She is adorable in every way imaginable in both looks and personality. You won't have to worry about shedding since she takes after the poodle in her, so it's a win win in the end if you ask me 😊 She is spayed, current on all vaccines, microchipped, had a dental cleaning done (no extractions needed, just a good polish and clean as her teeth were in overall great health,) and had a wonderful exam with our vet who has cleared her to find a home all her own ♥️ She is wonderful with ALL dogs and cats alike. She lived in a home with a few cats, so she is very well acclimated to them. She loves to play, but equally loves just being with her human. You don't need to have another animal friend to fill this girls heart, you are truly all she needs to be happy in life! She has very great house manners, and is always laying near by in a bed all her own, or if she is allowed she loves being in your lap ❤️ She is not hard to please whatsoever and has an independent side to her which allows you to go about your day while she goes about hers. She isn't high energy whatsoever and really does love just hanging out and enjoying the day as it comes along however that looks like. She isn't a barker, but will alert you of unfamiliar noises. She listens quickly, and will always come back to you when called and let you take over. She may follow you to let you know she has your back 😂 but she knows to stay quiet at that point and let you take the lead ☺️ She loves road trips of any length, and really enjoys hitting the road and will nap in her booster seat if she isn't enjoying the views outside her window. She is the perfect companion on road trips, and will make them so much more fun (that's a promise!!) She has an adventurous little spirit, and is always excited to explore new stops along the way 🙃 She is wonderful with our groomers, and has really enjoyed becoming friends with our groomer because she knows she gets the one on one attention along with a lot of extra pets, and snuggles while making her feel her absolute best ❤️ She is house trained, and goes outside every couple of hours to use the restroom when needed. She was also introduced to puppy pads in her previous home so that won't be an issue if you prefer that, but since with us we haven't used them and have had her strictly outside to use the restroom which she has been doing just fine with. She is crate trained, and currently sleeps in her crate at night and to occasionally nap in during the day. She will ask you to let her in her crate by pawing at it, as she just loves the comfort of being in her own space at times which will help if you need to leave her at home for any period of time moving forward until she settles into your home and is comfortable staying out of her crate til you return home. She is leash trained, and loves her walks. She is a very social little girl and while she isn't the first to run up to anyone new, she sure greets them very sweetly and attentively ❤️ She is a true gem, and one we will surely miss here but it's her time to find a happy ending of her own so we are happy to see that she gets just that ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Her prior owner had to move into a smaller place that unfortunately didn't allow pets. Financially she couldn't afford the ones that did, and while she loved Yoko very much she knew keeping her was no longer an option so she reached out to us to take her in and find her an incredible home. Her adoption fee along with its breakdown is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/_yoko It covers her spay, vaccines, microchip/registration, dental cleaning (her teeth were in overall great health, they just needed a good clean and polish.) the treatment of a double ear infection (which is cleared up ☺️,) and her overall physical exam (which went great!) As always her adoption fee also goes back into the care involved in the few months she has been with us, her grooming costs, and training we have personally done with her ❤️

Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving on 6/14/25 to NorCal and OR. Surrounding states will be added to our route if needed ☺️ We would love to add these two to our trip for the right home 💕 Meet our gorgeous Cavapoo siblings Flora, and Fitz! First and foremost, no! We are not adopting them out together, unless you of course have the time, space, energy, and love for both ❤️ They are great together, but equally great apart and will thrive in their new homes no matter what 😊 They are 8.5 months of age. They turn 1 on 9/26/24. They are Cavalier King Charles and miniature poodle mixes. They have the poodle coat, and are hypoallergenic ❤️ They are both fixed, current on their 1 year vaccines, microchipped, and have been cleared by our vet to find a home all their own. They are crate trained, and currently sleep in their crate at night, or during the day to nap (by choice) and do very well in there. They are very well conditioned to being in a crate when needed so whatever the use may be in their next home, they will be just fine with! They are doing VERY well with house training, and will go outside to use the restroom every 3-4 hours when asked to if they need to. They haven't had any accidents inbetween that schedule, and sleep through the whole night without having to go out as well so I recommend a good schedule in their next home as they both seem to appreciate having a solid routine. The one area of training they will need work in is leash training. We have begun getting them used to collars, and harnesses but with this current heat wave we are in, they haven't recieved much leash time outside of our home. They are smart and will definitely catch on when the weather is cooler for them to do so. I'll be a fun experience for both them, and their new families! They are wonderful with other dogs, and cats alike. They are very playful, so if you have another sweet friend to join them in life; they will be happy about that! If not, and you are looking to be their friend I'm certain you'll be all they need as well. They are very personable with their people, and love to be snuggled, and doted on so being the only pet would be something they would welcome ❤️ They are very well behaved in the home, and listen well. Training has been going amazing for them, as they look forward to pleasing you just for snuggles alone (no treats needed!!) They aren't huge foodies, so finding a good treat has been quite the task that they actually enjoy but if they are good with snuggles in the form of being good pups then we are good with that arrangement too 😉 They are not barkers but will alert you of unfamiliar noises. Flora is definitely more alert than Fitz, but both listen well when told you have it under control. They are amazing on road trips of any length, as we have gotten them used to riding around town and they love going "bye bye." So it's been fun incorporating them into small tasks when we can! They are wonderful at the groomers, and enjoy a good spa day. They are always super excited seeing their humans faces upon pick up and if you listen close enough the rapid tail wags speak for themselves ❤️😊 They came to us from a young woman who thought she could handle both pups together along with their parents (she owned both parents) but decided afterwards that it was best we helped her find them a good home (whether together or seperate.) In turn we spayed mom and neutered dad for her. Mom only had the two puppies, and financially their owner just wasn't in a position to vet all of them so we happily helped her with that on both ends. These two are very special and sweet souls waiting to find their happily ever after so if you have been patiently waiting for a new friend (or two) then your wait has come to an end!!! Their adoption fee is on our website under their adoption listing. We post it there to encourage all adopters to learn about who we are, and the work we do outside of just reading one of our adoption listings ❤️ https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/flora-and-fitz Fitz is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, had three baby teeth removed that hadn't fallen out on their own, was given an antibiotic injection to aid in the healing of his neuter, had an ear cleaning, and was treated for a double ear infection (which is cleared up now!) Flora is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, was given an antibiotic injection to aid in the healing of her spay, had the hair in her ears plucked, had an ear cleaning, had both ears treated for a double ear infection (which are also healed,) had 1 baby tooth removed that hadn't fallen out on its own, and was in heat at time of spay so she incurred an in heat spay increase due to longer anesthesia time. Both have been thourerly examined, and cleared by our vet to find homes all their own ❤️ As always their adoption fees also go back into the months of care they have recieved, their grooming costs, and the training we have personally done with them ❤️
