We are so happy to have our sweet girl Curls with us. After being returned to her owner from the shelter last year, Curls sadly found herself back in the shelter again within a year, this time severely neglected. Once her painful mats were shaved away, she immediately felt like a brand-new lady and her true personality began to shine. Curls gets along well with other dogs and would love a canine friend to play with. She is also okay with cats. She adores her toys, has a hearty appetite, and is house-trained, including knowing how to use training pads. She has just the right amount of sass, is incredibly affectionate, and is an absolute delight. While Curls isn’t a fan of car rides, this is easily managed with medication. She prefers not to wear a harness or sweaters, but makes up for it with endless charm and love. Curls is 10 years old and weighs 8–10 pounds, and she’s ready to charm her way into the heart of a lucky family.

Ollie is such a sweet and special boy with a quiet and lovely nature. Ollie is an 1 ½ -year-old, 14-pound wheat-colored Poodle/Chihuahua mix (his mother is a Poodle and dad is a Chihuahua). Ollie is a lovable pup who will need time to adjust to his new surroundings. He thrives best in a calmer environment, ideally with another friendly dog. He loves snuggling up with other dogs, and having a canine companion would be perfect for him! Because of Ollie’s gentle, bashful demeanor, we recommend a home with adults or older teenagers. He may take his time warming up, but once he trusts you, you’ll see his sweet and gentle nature shine through. Ollies does well at the sanctuary using the doggie door to go potty outside, He will benefit from some leash training to help him build confidence. Ollie is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, making him ready for adoption! Luther is a secretly sweet, goofball who is looking for a patient adopter who is willing to take it slow and build trust. Luther may not have a ton of "pick me" energy, but his subtle sweetness takes some time to uncover and appreciate - but once you are in his circle, there is no better feeling. To gain a shy dog's trust, there can be a multi-step process, involving lots of treats, a slow approach and an expectation that touch and petting comes at his discretion - despite his fluffiness! Luther is really hoping to find people that understand his vibe with older kids and maybe another calm, confident dog to show him the ropes - while he may not be ready to hit the town. Bella's a great little senior dog. She mostly minds her business and sleeps a lot. She gets excited around her evening mealtime and still enjoys a walk around the block. Bella is 16 years old. Doesn't have major health issues. But shows age-related signs of a little dementia. She would be happy in a house with other people and pets, but would have difficulty around small children. The pictures are recent and show her freshly groomed. She is otherwise a curly furball!

This 1.5-year-old miniature poodle mix weighs just 12 pounds and is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate.Esher is great with other small dogs, but larger ones are a little intimidating for him. He's a bit shy with new people, but after some treats and and a little patience, his happy, active, funny personality comes out. Esher would do best in a home with a companion dog and a younger active family. He has a lot of energy and enjoys both short strolls and longer walks, especially when he gets to explore by your side. He loves toys, fetch, enjoys car rides, and is just as happy snuggling up as he is heading out for an adventure.Esher is pretty good on the leash and enjoys exploring with his person.
