Hi Everyone My name is Jesse. I am an energetic, affectionate, playful and loving mini poodle who came to Jelly's Place from Mexico. I LOVE to go for walks, to take rides in the car, to eat treats and to roll around on the couch. I like playing with plushy toys and snuggling into my plushy dog bed. I am a big dog in a small dog's body. I don't usually get along with other dogs, but I became friends with Raya, a Great Pyranese. People laugh when they see us together because I am so small and she is so big. But, we just ignore them. I sometimes feel uncomfortable when people pet me or try to pick me up. I don't like getting groomed or getting my nails cut, so keeping me looking cute and free of burns can be a challenge. I prefer to live with a family that has no kids has experience with quirky dogs, who will be patient and respectful when handling me. I am UTD on vaccines, microchipped and neutered. Cotton is a lovely Poodley gal, looking for a loving home with a tad of patience as she gets used to her new beginnings and having more people time. She doesn't yet have formal training, but is a willing participant. Cotton loves to romp in a yard, she's familiar with stairs and clearly has been in a home. Cotton will come and ask to get on your lap... and may want to own it. She is quite dog friendly having lived in a home with many other pups. At 14-15 pounds she is a perfect companion, lap dog and easy traveling buddy. But FIRST she'll want to take things slowly, get some training, confidence, structure and learn recall. She’s a lovely girl - and of course she will need periodic grooming!!

Well, just kiss me Kate!! This girl is such a love, she is super soft inside and out. Kate arrived with wounds on her chest, neck and ears from being infested with foxtails, the demon weeds! She is on antibiotics and shaved down except a little poof on the top of her head. She is quite adorable! And she weighs a tad over 12 pounds. Currently in foster with Milo founder Lynne, back and forth from our Sanctuary. Kate is very dog friendly, mostly quiet though will bark from a distance at intruders or unknowns the other side of a fence. She wants to follow you around, is a tad insecure or shy, but mostly because she isn't pushy and there is a pack around Lynne most of the time! She loves a lap, to snuggle on the couch or bed, is on the mellow side, and wants to please. Currently she can't wear a collar, but her wounds are healing, and she will have a beautiful soft curly coat in no time. There have been zero signs of Kate having any form of aggression, she has also stepped in to play Auntie with Georgia's pups (see photos, not her pups.) She is gentle and sweet as can be, fine for a family with dog savvy, gentle children, and dogs and cats!

Meet mama Georgia O'Keefe! She has her painterly bunch of puppies, all different and colorful, Georgia herself is a delightful dog, warm and welcoming, trusting and affectionate. We are hoping she and her pups can get into another foster home with more people time! They are a LOT of fun! Georgia is very sweet-natured, and has been a terrific mom to her pups, and not overly protective. Georgia is loving doing new things, meeting new people and animals, she is very cat and dog friendly, no assertion or concerning behavior at all - she loves attention, but is not overtly clingy. A lovely Poodley girl - probably mixed with a bit of Terrier perhaps. She was completely shaved down as she was quite a dirty matted mess....Poodles need their coats maintained - remember that!

Jack Jack is a precious 9 year-old, 14 lb poodle mix gentleman. He's mellow and walks nicely on leash, and seems to be house trained! He's friendly with other dogs and loves spending time with people. Plus he has the cutest underbite! We think he may have less-than-perfect hearing, but he has no trouble with day to day life. This little guy is easy as pie and is sure to make his new family very happy!
