Here’s what makes Dew special: Playful Spirit: Dew is an active guy who adores playtime with toys, shoes, and occasionally his bedding (he loves to snuggle with shoes but won’t chew them up). He’s a bit of an attention hound and will even bring you his dish when he’s hungry! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Friendly & Sociable: Dew gets along great with other dogs, though he has a special bond with female pups. He’s had a bit of a rough start with males but now enjoys wrestling and zooming around with his new buddy! Housebroken: Dew is housebroken and uses the doggie door like a pro, though he might have a few accidents if he gets too excited or scared. Regular trips outside help him stay on track. Sleeping: Dew sleeps in a kennel at night but isn’t a big fan of it. He’s a bit of a passive resister but settles down eventually. Training: He’s learned the basic commands like “no” and “off” and has just picked up “sit.” His leash skills need a bit of work, but with some patience, he’ll get there! Story

Cody and Molly are a sweet bonded pair who came to us after their mom passed away. They are kind, considerate and gentle little lambs. Cody is 28 lbs (needs to lose some weight!) and Molly is 13 lbs. Cody is 17 years young and Molly is 18 years young. They've been indoor dogs for a long time with little to no outdoor time and they're happy to enjoy the great outdoors, especially when it's sunny! These two really are the sweetest pair of buddies they look forward to spending forever and ever together. Cody came to us with bladder stones, had surgery and is now on a special diet to help prevent this from occurring again. Molly and Cody are a very sweet pair who don't ask for much, just a loving, warm and cozy home where they get to enjoy indoor and outdoor sunshine time together.

AUGUST 2024: Bentley is a sweet adorable fellow who adores cuddling in your lap whenever possible and sleeping on or beside your bed at night (usually on an adjacent pillow). Bentley gets along well with the other dogs at the Rescue. He uses wee pads or a dog door for daily business. Due to reduced eyesight, Bentley DOES NOT enjoy walks outside his familiar home yard. He is happy walking next to you, not pulling and he stops when you stop walking to look at a view or chat with a friend. He also enjoys watching outdoor action from atop a chair by a window. Bentley's remaining teeth were just cleaned. He has gained some weight in Rescue, but he will get back to his perfect weight! Bentley is just sweet and easy.
