My mom kinda over loved me with people food, and as long as she gave it to me, I ate it. My mom can no longer care for me, so I am looking for a new home. I am a girl of 9 years old and right now I am weighing in at 27lbs. Need to get that down to 20-23lbs. I am looking for a laid back home where someone is not gone for long hours and can get me outside potty every few hours and maybe take me on a daily walk. No stairs in the home please and prefer no children. I am a girl that will need to go to the grooming salon on a regular basis to keep my puppyish looks because everyone says I am a cutie pie. I will follow you around the house just to be near you. I would love to sit with you on the couch or on your lap. I am a loyal, loving girl.I do take Levothyroxine for my thyroid, and the supplement Melatonin for Cushing's. Geppetto is a 9 year old mini red poodle who doesn’t act a day over 1. He currently lives with two other dogs, a labradoodle and a Newfoundland mix. He is very well trained, intelligent, independent, and very playful. He LOVES fetching, playing with sticks, running around, cuddling, and napping. He would do best with a fence. He is very low maintenance and has a small appetite. He does not like being held or touched near his hips. He loves other dogs but could be a single dog in a quiet household. He can resource guard toys and treats. Geppetto has never met a child but could coexist with older children who honor boundaries. He is a very affectionate boy and has never pottied in the house. He was recently at the vet in 1/26 and I am happy to have him updated on vaccinates for the adopter. SERIOUS inquires only. The reason he is listed for adoption is because one of my dogs is handicapped and Geppetto can create and environment that makes it difficult for him to relax.
