Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Rudy Joe Rudy Joe is a 3-year-old red miniature poodle who is just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be. Raised in a breeding facility, Rudy arrived to us matted and bedraggled, unsure of the world beyond his small kennel. But after a warm bath, a fresh groom, and lots of gentle love, his sweet personality truly came alive. Now Rudy is all about the good life! He loves cuddling in bed with his foster mom and her three canine companions—both big and small. He also lives peacefully with a cat and is doing very well with housetraining. Rudy Joe has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines (with one booster scheduled in two weeks), and is on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He is currently being lovingly fostered in the Northumberland, PA community, where he continues to blossom more every day. Rudy Joe is ready for a home where he can keep learning what it means to be cherished—snuggles included. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Adam Wiggleton!UPDATE from ADAM's FOSTER MOM:  Meet Adam, my ridiculously energetic foster dog who's always game for a walk or hike, loves kids, dogs, and protecting his bird feeder from those pesky squirrels, while simultaneously being a deer-watching enthusiast, sunbathing pro, and if going for ice cream he's ready to go with his other furry siblings..oh, and he's trained to ask politely to go out, this scruffy guy is now looking for his forever home!! Santa didn't bring me a home for Christmas - but I'm hoping for my very own home in the New Year. Breed? Your guess is as good as ours — let’s just call him a “Certified Scruff Mix.” At about two years old, this handsome fellow is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to wiggle right into your heart. Adam was found starving as a stray (we suspect he was abandoned), but he hasn’t let his past dim his spirit. He’s now thriving — full of joy, personality, and just the right amount of mischief.  If his demeanor doesn't suck you right in--his soulful eyes certainly will. He’s a total social butterfly: adores kids, adults, and every dog he’s met. He currently shares his home with two canine buddies and we are looking for a home for him with another friendly companion as he loves, loves, loves to play.  Adam is an outdoorsy guy who loves hiking, zooming around with friends, and attending local baseball games with his foster mom — he’s practically the team’s unofficial mascot! &#226&#154&#190 He hasn't lived with cats while in our care, but he has barked and given chase to the stray cats, rabbits, and squirrels when spotted in his foster's back yard. His only “flaw”? He’s a professional countersurfer. We blame his rough start in life… but he’s quick, clever, and very proud of his title. (Foster mom update: this is improving!) Adam is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention and is being lovingly fostered in the Selinsgrove area. If you’re looking for a loyal, funny, adventure-loving companion (with a PhD in snack detection), Adam Wiggleton is your guy! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.(YOU MUST BE WITHIN A TWO HOUR DRIVE OF GRANTVILLE PA TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN ADOPTER.)Posted 9/24/2025 Tuesday was a puppy mill dog used to produce puppies.  She has a sweet personality but does need to gain some confidence in herself.  Her quirky thing is she won't eat in front of you so I leave her food in her crate and she eats when I am not there.  She is a bit backward but will come to you after she gets to know you.  She is good with dogs, and good in her crate.  Because she is backward no children under 16.  She does need a fenced yard since she will not poop on a leash.  Her aoption fee is $500 she has had a dental as well.   All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee along with an adoption kit . Application REQUIRED. Adoption fee required. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi I am Dior! I was found outside in Dauphin all by myself when a Good Samaritan stopped and picked me up on a cold day! I am approximately 3 years old and fully vetted. I love to play with my dog siblings in my foster home. I also am learning how to fetch! I am a petite little gal, but my personality will fill your whole heart! I am a type of poodle breed, but we aren't sure of my exact breed. My perfect home would be with a family that will allow me to play outside, go for walks and still snuggle up on the couch. I like kids, I like other dogs and I even like cats! I am completely house trained. I would love to meet you if you think I could be your furever companion!  I am spayed, up to date on my vaccines and microchipped. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, My Name is Oreo Kisses, (and yes, I love to give lots of kisses) I am a 8-year-old Male, Mini Poodle weighing in at 16.22 lbs. I came into rescue due to an ER visit of bloody diarrhea, and my mom couldn’t afford the bill to get my evaluation, since she had just gone thru some life changes. So the ER vet contacted PLPR and now I'm living my best life with my foster family. Grooming for me should be about every 6 to 8 weeks. I am fully vaccinated and bloodwork, fecal, accuplex checked with all looking good. The rescue had me neutered and took care of my dental issues too! I am crate trained, house trained, leash trained, and love to go on car rides. I love other dogs, even medium sized ones. I love to sleep on the couch snuggled next to you or on your lap and even in the human bed if you will let me. I am sometime timid if you raise your voice which my previous owner did mention was due to an abusive situation she was in. Oh and I love toys too! Won't you be my forever friend!?! To adopt Oreo Kisses, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($350 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, neuter, dental, and all the love you can handle! After seeing her cute face, we said please send her our way!Hazy is currently around 6 months old. According to Hazy's foster and anyone who has met her,  she is simply an awesome puppy! She is so sweet and friendly :-). She is house trained and does wonderful in her crate. Oh, and she also walks on a leash like a champ! Hazy does well with other dogs and children; we are unsure of cats. This puppy will do well in almost any household!
