Story
We welcomed our now 7 month old sweet mini poodle into our family in June as a companion for our daughter. Unfortunately, we’ve realized that she isn’t quite ready for the responsibility of caring for a dog, and with our busy schedule, we aren’t able to give him all the time and attention he deserves. He is a sweet, playful and lovable little boy who deserves a home where he can get plenty of attention and be a true part of the family. We’re hoping to find him a loving, responsible home with someone who has the time and commitment to care for him long-term.This is not an easy decision for our family, so finding the right home for him is much more important to us than simply finding a new home. ❤️🐾

Story
DARBY | The Observant Old Soul Four months old | Female | Mixed breed Darby gives the impression that she's already figured out how this whole world works. She's just waiting for the rest of us to catch up. 👀 With distinctive patches around her eyes and a heart-shaped marking on her back, Darby is easy to spot in a crowd. But her personality is what really sets her apart. She's the observant one. While her siblings are busy crashing out after a play session, Darby might still be awake, watching what's happening around her. She makes wonderful eye contact, pays attention to people, and seems especially tuned in to what's going on. She was also the first puppy in the litter to open her eyes, start walking, and eat solid food. Early adopter of the whole growing-up thing, apparently. Don't let her thoughtful nature fool you, though. Darby can absolutely keep up with her brothers, including at mealtime, where she's one of the faster eaters. She's calm, capable, and perfectly comfortable holding her own. Darby has grown up around three resident dogs and has met three toddler grandkids many times. She's also learned the household's Mumford & Sons naptime routine. Her litter has shared a playpen, and she enjoys having access to a crate for naps and play, although individual crate training is still ahead. The family tree: Mom Logan's DNA includes Poodle, American Pit Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Cocker Spaniel, and additional breeds. Dad is unknown, so Darby's adult size can't yet be predicted. Darby is looking for: A family who enjoys getting to know a thoughtful, attentive puppy and will give her room to explore, learn, and grow into her own personality. She's not necessarily the puppy demanding all the attention in the room. She might just be the one quietly deciding you're her person. 💛

Story
KOKO | The Little Sister With Big-Dog Energy Four months old | Female | Mixed breed Smallest in the litter. Absolutely not interested in acting like it. Meet Koko. 🐾 Koko is the petite one, with a little light-brown patch on her head near her right ear. She's a slower eater, but don't confuse that with a slower pace of life. The girl has places to be, brothers to follow, and adventures to get into. She's especially fond of tagging along with the big boys, often running beside her biggest brother and curling up right next to him when it's time to sleep. Koko seems to have concluded that being the smallest is a minor logistical detail, not a reason to miss out. She's playful, silly, and happy to be part of whatever is happening around her. There is something pretty wonderful about a little puppy who sees her bigger siblings doing something and thinks, "Yep, I'm coming too." Koko has grown up alongside three resident dogs and has met three toddler grandkids on multiple occasions. She's also been raised with the family's Mumford & Sons naptime routine and settles down when the music comes on. Her litter has shared a playpen, and she enjoys having access to a crate for sleeping and play, although individual crate training is still ahead. The family tree: Mom Logan is a mix of Poodle, American Pit Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Cocker Spaniel, and additional breeds. Dad remains unknown, so Koko's adult size is uncertain. Koko is looking for: A family who won't mistake petite for passive and who wants a playful companion ready to grow, learn, and explore alongside them. She may be the little sister, but she's already keeping up with the big kids. Your turn, Koko fans. 💛

Story
ROSCO | The Professional Cuddle Bug Four months old | Male | Mixed breed Some puppies are born to cause chaos. Rosco was born to be held like a baby and have his belly rubbed. Honestly? Relatable. 🥔💛 Affectionately nicknamed "the sweet potato" as a baby, Rosco earned his title by lying perfectly still on his back in someone's arms, completely content to receive tummy rubs. That sweet, easygoing nature is still part of who he is. He's the only white-furred boy in the litter, and one of two puppies with a heart-shaped marking on his back. Yes, actual heart-shaped markings. We don't make the rules. Rosco is one of the chillest puppies in the group, but don't mistake laid-back for a pushover. He can hold his own when his siblings get rowdy, and he's one of the fastest eaters at mealtime. He simply doesn't feel the need to start every wrestling match. He's usually among the first to decide the party is over and it's time for a nap. He's grown up around three resident dogs and has met three toddler grandkids regularly. He's also been part of the litter's Mumford & Sons naptime tradition since he was about a week old. He enjoys having a crate available for naps and play, though he hasn't been individually crate trained. The family tree: Mom Logan is a mix of Poodle, American Pit Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Cocker Spaniel, and other breeds. Dad is unknown, so Rosco's adult size is still a mystery. Rosco is looking for: A family who wants a sweet companion with a playful side and a serious appreciation for quality cuddle time. His résumé includes belly rubs, excellent nap skills, and making people say, "Look at that little face." References available upon request. 🥹

Story
RUFUS | The Big-Feelings Boy Four months old | Male | Mixed breed Long legs. Big hugs. Bigger feelings. Rufus is basically a lanky teenager who hasn't realized he's still a baby. 🥹 Rufus is outgoing, loves being in the middle of the action, and happens to be mom Logan's favorite playmate. He also has a soft spot for his littlest sister, often choosing to sleep beside her. Sometimes on top of her. Personal space is apparently a work in progress. He's surprisingly agile, too. Stairs? Conquered. Box tower? Climbed. Jumping back down? No hesitation. He's a little more cautious when exploring the yard, but once he's ready to go, those long legs take him places. And then there's his heart. Rufus has always been an emotional guy. He's affectionate, sensitive, and the kind of puppy who makes you feel genuinely special when he chooses you for a cuddle. His signature move is putting his paws on your shoulders and leaning in for a hug. Yes, really. We have a hugger. He's also showing promising early potty-training awareness, crying and pacing in his playpen when he needs to go outside. That's a great start, although he'll need continued consistency and practice in his new home. Rufus has grown up with three resident dogs and met three toddler grandkids regularly. He's part of the family's Mumford & Sons naptime tradition and enjoys having access to a crate for naps and play. He hasn't been individually crate trained yet. The family tree: Mom Logan is a Poodle, American Pit Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, and Golden Retriever mix, with Cocker Spaniel and other breeds in her DNA. Dad is unknown, so Rufus's adult size is still a question mark. Rufus is looking for: A loving family ready for puppy training, a little emotional sensitivity, lots of play, and a dog who might just become your personal hug delivery service. If your love language is physical affection, Rufus has already updated his résumé. 🤎

Story
MISSY | The Tiny CEO Four months old | Female | Mixed breed Meet Missy, a tiny girl with big opinions, main-character confidence, and absolutely no plans to let her big brothers run the show. 💅 Mostly white with the faintest tan markings on her back and ears, Missy might be the smallest of the bunch, but somebody forgot to tell her that. She happily stands her ground when her bigger, rowdier brothers want to wrestle, and if you correct her? Expect a response. She has thoughts, and she would like them heard. Underneath that confident little exterior is a happy, silly girl who's ready to make herself part of your everyday life. She's a slower eater, so she appreciates a little space to enjoy her meals without the family dinner rush. Missy has grown up around three resident dogs and has met her foster's three toddler grandkids regularly. She's also been raised on a very specific naptime soundtrack: Mumford & Sons. Yes, she's a tiny music connoisseur. She enjoys having access to a crate for naps and play, although she hasn't been individually crate trained yet. The family tree: Her mom, Logan, is a Poodle, American Pit Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, and Golden Retriever mix, with Cocker Spaniel and additional breeds in her DNA. Dad remains a mystery, so Missy's adult size is still a bit of a surprise. Missy is looking for: A family who appreciates a little sass with their sweetness, enjoys puppy antics, and won't underestimate the smallest girl in the room. Applications are open. Missy is accepting candidates for her management team. 🐾
