Meet Bon Bon When you hear the name “Bon Bon,” you probably imagine a creamy, chocolatey confection that’s irresistible and impossible to wait for. Well… I’m not exactly that kind of Bon Bon. But I am pretty sweet. I’m a white female purebred Schnauzer who was recently surrendered because my family’s circumstances changed — nothing to do with me at all. I was very loved, and now I’m searching for another forever family to love me just as much. I weigh almost 15 pounds, and I’m fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccinations. I walk nicely on a leash and am house trained with a doggie door. Don’t have one? No problem! I’ll politely let you know I need outside by running to the door, back to you, then back to the door again. Ignore me at your own risk! One of my favorite things in the world is chasing balls. I’ll happily sprint after every throw — though returning them is still a work in progress. So it’s best to keep plenty of balls nearby while you retrieve the others for round two! I absolutely adore people and would love a home where I can be close to my humans as much as possible. Little children make me nervous because I startle easily, so I’d do best in an adult home. I’m also learning not to chase cats and am making great progress… though squirrels in the backyard are still very suspicious and require supervision. She takes time to warm up to people, but likes other dogs and cats. She would do best with another confident dog to show her the ropes of being a pup. Primrose likes soft toys and comfy beds. She prefers quiet environments and would love a calm household. She can be a bit of a barker when worked up. Primrose needs a home that will work on her potty training. She is learning to use potty pads, but still has accidents outside of the pads. She is a tiny girl who has a lot of potential. She gets pets & cuddles everyday and is learning to relax when getting affection. She would also need a physical fence since she is a flight risk. Meet Danny! Danny is a handsome five-year-old Miniature Schnauzer who found his way into rescue after being discovered as a stray. When no one came forward to claim him, he was welcomed into foster care where he received the medical attention he needed. During his evaluation, Danny tested positive for heartworm—but after completing treatment, we’re happy to share that he is now heartworm negative and on prevention! Danny is what we lovingly call a “work in progress.” He is incredibly devoted to his person and can be a bit clingy, which we believe may be due to some hearing impairment and possibly never having had a person to call his own before. He thrives on companionship and is happiest when he’s close to his human. He gets along well with other dogs and is learning how to play, though he sometimes needs gentle reminders that he’s not the boss. Like many dogs who have experienced life as a stray, food is very important to Danny. He gets excited at mealtime and may bark, but settles down once his meal is served. The good news–Danny is utd on vaccines, neutered, had a dental, and is both housebroken and crate trained! Danny’s ideal home would be with someone who is home more often than not—someone patient, understanding, and willing to help him continue learning what a loving, stable life looks like. Meet 10 year old Jingles, looking for his furever family. Jingles is a loving and gentle soul seeking a special home that can accommodate his needs as a diabetic pup. Diagnosed just last year, Jingles hadn’t been fed a proper diet and his weight became out of control. Now with no table food, prescription food, insulin injections twice daily he is doing phenomenal. His care is all about routine. He takes his daily injections like a champ and he’s down 15 lbs. since entering rescue. His insulin was at 16 units twice a day, but now on 8 units twice a day. Jingles loves to run and play with is foster brothers and sisters so a home with back yard is a must as well as another pup. He will walk on a leash, but does require some training as he does pull. He is completely house broken, and crate trained. Even though this sweet boy is crate trained he doesn’t requitd it and does love to sleep in the bedroom with you on a doggie bed at night.
