If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out the application at www.woodscreekrescue.com. Filling out the application is not a commitment to an adoption and needs to be done prior to any further questions you might have or information you are seeking. Our Process is the following: 1. Fill out an application 2. Once the application is approved, you will be called or emailed about setting up a day and time to meet me. 3. After a "Meet and Greet" then a decision for both the rescue and you will determine if this is a good match. After this is determined, we will schedule a home check which can be the day of adoption depending on how things go. Want to see more of me? Check us out on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok. We love having new followers.

Story
🐾 Meet Emmett — the little dog with a big need for patience and love 🐾 Emmett has been with I Paw’d It Forward since May 2025 after losing his owner. His whole world changed, and he’s still trying to figure things out. What he needs now isn’t flashy — it’s simple: a calm, understanding home where he can finally feel safe again. At just 12 lbs, this neutered terrier mix is a shy guy who takes time to trust. New people can be a lot for him, and he’s not a fan of being picked up. But give him space, consistency, and a few tasty treats (his absolute favorite!), and you’ll start to see his walls come down. ✨ Emmett’s ideal home: • A confident, friendly dog buddy to show him the ropes • A calm environment with patient humans • Kids 12+ who understand giving him space • Someone willing to let him move at his own pace Emmett isn’t the dog who will run up to greet you on day one — but he is the dog who will quietly steal your heart once he feels safe. Dogs like Emmett don’t need perfect homes… they need committed ones. 💛 If you believe in second chances and the power of patience, Emmett is waiting for you. 📩 Reach out to I Paw’d It Forward to learn more or meet Emmett. https://ipawditforward.org/adoptable-pets #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #ShyDogLove #SecondChanceDog #IPawdItForward
