Story
(We have a transport trip on 4/27/24 to NorCal and OR and would love to add Louie to our route if the right home comes along before then! Transport will be divided between all adopting families in route to help aleviate the total cost) Meet Louie! He is a beautiful, purebred silver miniature schnauzer. He is a little over 1 year of age. He is set to be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated on 4/24/24 and will be available for adoption soon after if all goes well! (His weight will be updated on 4/24/24) He is house trained, and goes outside every couple of hours to use the restroom if needed. He is crate trained, and currently sleeps in a crate at night. He has wonderful house manners so he has free roam of our home during the day. He would love being in the room with his new family if permitted, but will happily sleep in a crate if desired as well. He is leash trained, and does very well on his walks. He rides very well in the car, and loves road trips no matter the distance. He is wonderful at the groomers, and truly enjoys his spa days. He is easy going, and highly adaptable. He is SWEET. He is NOT a barker, and has an extremely quiet, serene tempered, peaceful side to him. He is HAPPY just to be in the presence of his humans. He does NOT have an overbearing personality whatsoever. He is kind hearted. Extremely observant. He is a people and dog watcher 😂 He just likes observing the world at every angle, and truly teaches us to slow down and just take even the smallest things in. He is your definition of a true companion. Loving to dogs, and cats alike. Loves men, women, and children. He is shy at first, and will walk up to give you a quick kiss, only to quickly remember his "shyness" 😂 Once he gets to know you, you will become his best friend, and one you do not want to miss out on calling your own ❤️ His owners owned both parents. (It was their first and last litter) and they fell in love with him, so they decided to keep him. Unfortunately raising three, in the end didn't end up being the right choice as he craved human attention and needed more from them than their others needed. They wanted him to have a fulfilled happy life, so they reached out to us here to find that for him ❤️ His adoption fee along with its breakdown will be on our website under his listing at breadoflifek9refuge.org. It will cover his neuter, vaccines, microchip, exam with our vet, time and care since with us these last couple of months, and his training. His adoption fee will be updated if anything else is needed at time of his neuter such as a dental cleaning, etc.

Story
Best family dog! Likes dogs, humans and cats! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com I would like a family looking for a Schnauzer mix. My owners abandoned my litter on a highway. Dillon is a ma le 4.5 mos old and 22 lb Schnauzer./Maltese mix (we think) I love people. I am shy at first, but I do love my people. I am a semi energetic, very affectionate gal that likes playing with toys and hang out with my people. I am an indoor dog that will enjoy daily walks and some dog training. I will need periodic grooming. Okay with dog tolerant cats. Courtesay post for Helotes Humane Society. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 500,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.

Story
Hello, my name is bunny but my friends call me bun bun. The shelter said I was 14 but I really feel more like I am 8 or 9. I had tons of babies so my body got run down but with all my hopping around I am getting more muscle tone. I am also gaining some weight from all the soft food I eat now. I dont have any teeth at all so I do need soft food. I love women, kids and food. I am not fond of cats or men, but I would probably get used to a man in my space (i will always chase cats but with no teeth i cant hurt them). I love to play, go on walks and snuggle on the couch but i am still learning these new skills. And I love to bark at every noise. I really enjoy hanging out in my open crate or in my little soft enclosed dog bed. And I will hang out in my kennel with the door closed and not cause a ruckus. If you can be patient with me I will love you forever.

Story
Lieutenant (named after lieutenant Dan) came to us about 4 years ago as a sweet puppy. She’s has such a precious heart and personality. In a dream world she would be held all day, every day. We adopted her from a breeder that was going to put her down due to her being a runt that no one wanted. We instantly fell in love with her spirit. Shortly afterwards we realized she is blind and has strong anxiety due to this. She also loves being outside and running in circles. We have found a groomer that loves her and is trained for special needs dogs. We also have a vet that understands her also. Sticking with this vet and groomer would be a big plus for us. She is crate trained, we keep a heating pad in there along with white noise to help her calm down. At the end of the day we just don’t have the time for her. We would love to have the time to spend with her but unfortunately we both need to work full time. She gets along fine with our border collie but would maybe do best as an only pet.
