Story
Boone is the kind of puppy that makes your heart melt before you even realize what’s happening. From her tiny little paws to her soft, sweet eyes, she is pure perfection wrapped up in 5 pounds of love. The moment she looks at you, you’re done for—she has that irresistible “pick me, love me, take me home” energy that’s impossible to ignore. Boone isn’t just cute (though she absolutely is), she’s the kind of soul-dog who will curl into your chest, sigh happily, and make you feel like you’ve been her favorite person forever.
At just around 3 months old, this miniature schnauzer/terrier mix is already showing what an amazing companion she’s going to grow into. Boone is the perfect mix of playful puppy and gentle cuddlebug. She has her silly, happy bursts of energy where she’ll bounce around with toys, proudly tossing them in the air and crinkling them like it’s her full-time job. Watching her play is pure joy—she’s goofy, curious, and so full of life in the most heart-melting way.
Look how adorable she isn’t her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/kIEszvJgYoM?si=hRwLWFICGsxF7wU8
But as much as she loves to play, Boone’s absolute favorite thing is you. She lives for affection. She’ll happily snuggle into your arms, lean into your pets, and soak up every bit of love you give her. She’s incredibly sweet-natured, gentle, and affectionate, making her the kind of puppy who bonds deeply and quickly with her people. She’s the type to follow you around just to be close, always ready for cuddles or a cozy nap by your side.
Boone is currently thriving in a loving foster home where she’s getting along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. She absolutely adores playing with the dogs—zoomies, wrestling, and happy chaos included—and she fits right in with the pack. When it comes to cats, Boone is very respectful and sweet. She understands their space and doesn’t push boundaries, making her a great fit for a home with feline friends.
She’s such a well-rounded little puppy—playful but not overwhelming, affectionate without being demanding, and gentle in all the best ways. Boone is still young, so she’s at the perfect age to continue learning and growing into the most incredible lifelong companion.
If you’re looking for a puppy who will make you laugh, melt into your arms, and fill your home with love, Boone is your girl. She’s tiny, she’s precious, and she’s ready to give her whole heart to a family who will love her just as much as she deserves.
Boone isn’t just a puppy—you’ll quickly realize she’s your little shadow, your cuddle buddy, and your best friend all wrapped into one unbelievably adorable package.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
