At just 5 months old, Molly is at a wonderful stage of development where she is eager to learn, bond with her family, and experience the world around her. She loves attention, enjoys playtime, and thrives when she is included in family activities. After a busy day of fun, she is more than happy to settle in for cuddles and quality time with her favorite people. As a Schnauzer Mix, Molly is likely to be intelligent, alert, and eager to learn. Schnauzers are known for their loyalty, trainability, and engaging personalities. Molly would thrive in a home prepared for: Ongoing puppy training and supervision Daily exercise, playtime, and enrichment Positive socialization experiences Structure, consistency, and routine Plenty of companionship and interaction A lifelong commitment to her emotional and physical well-being Like all puppies, Molly will need patience, guidance, and continued training as she grows and matures. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue puppies come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or formal training before arriving at rescue. Puppies require patience, consistency, and supervision as they learn how to navigate life in a home environment. Adopters should expect normal puppy behaviors such as chewing, teething, accidents, learning household routines, and testing boundaries. These are all normal parts of healthy puppy development. Molly will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Patience, consistency, and supervision Mental and physical enrichment Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn routine 3 months to feel fully at home With patience, training, and love, Molly will grow into a confident and devoted companion. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a puppy is a lifelong commitment that includes training, exercise, veterinary care, and emotional responsibility. Molly will need: Routine veterinary care and completion of her puppy vaccine series Preventative care including flea, tick, and parasite prevention Proper nutrition to support healthy growth Daily exercise and mental enrichment Ongoing training and socialization A safe, stable indoor living environment Because Molly is still growing, her family should be prepared to continue helping her develop confidence, good manners, and positive habits as she matures. Molly is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside.
