I'm Maximus, the funniest dog you'll meet. I ended up here after chasing a squirrel into a birthday party, accidentally diving into the cake! Everyone laughed, except the cake. Now, I'm looking for a new adventure, preferably squirrel-free. Adopt me for endless laughs and companionship!June 29, 2026, 10:02 am

Story
Hobi lost his Dad and his Mom is having a hard time dealing with the death and has decided to rehome him. She says he is "needy" which to us are the best dog!. She says he follows you everywhere (like most dogs do) and is by your side most the time. How sweet is that? He is super, duper sweet and loving and great with children and other dogs. He is a medium size and weighs 40 lbs. He is just so stinkin cute! He will be happy to find his forever person who can love him and show that love back as he so deserves. He is potty trained and doesn't care for the crate and really doesn't need it but he has been in one.  Let's find him a new family!  Applications to foster or adopt Hobie are at codysfriendsrescue.org ##2769525##

Story
I adopted Gemi from Humane Society in April of 2016. Later in August, I adopted a schnoodle puppy from a friend, thinking it would be good company for Gemi. But she was not having it! I hoped with training and time she will eventually come to accept her, so I had to take my puppy to work until she was old and big enough to stand up for herself. She grew up to be much bigger than Gemi and after a couple of years, Gemi stopped harassing her. My schnoodle loves other dogs and wanted to play with Gemi and she wouldn't have it. She wanted another dog to play with, so in 2018 i found a Morky (4 yrs old and 8 lbs at the time, 13 lbs now) and he and my schnoodle have become best buds. However, Gemi has absolutely refused to accept the morky and frequently tries to attack and bite him. This has created a very tense environment in our home. So, I have decided to rehome Gemi, where she could be the one and only! Gemi is a great dog by herself and is healthy, most likely many years left to live.
