Story
BARLEY - SPRING ADOPTION SPECIAL $50 Barley is a 7.5-year-old, 60 pound, spayed female Mountain Cur mix that came to shelter as a stray. Her right ear is permanently folded down, due to an old hematoma. But, it doesn’t seem to bother her at all. She is a friendly and playful girl, who likes squeaky, plush toys and LOVES a good scratch, especially on the base of her tail. According to her finder, Barley didn’t appear to like other animals, but was comfortable and friendly around young children. Barley is UTD on all her shots & completely vetted. Barley has some separation anxiety, which foster has worked with her on. She is doing amazing. Would love to get her into a foster to adopt home, with someone who is home with her. Story
🐾 Hi, I’m Carmel – (yep, like the sweet treat!), and I’ve got a big smile and an even bigger heart. I came in as a stray with my buddy Coffee, but you’d never know it from my happy-go-lucky attitude! I’m a playful girl who absolutely loves toys — squeaky ones, bouncy ones, tug toys — I’m here for it all. I get along great with other dogs and have the best time in playgroups. Whether I’m romping around with my pup pals or tossing toys in the air, I’m always living my best life. A few fun things about me: 🐾 Mountain Cur mix with a joyful personality 🐾 Super friendly and dog-social 🐾 Loves toys and playtime 🐾 Happy, affectionate, and eager to please I’m hoping to find a forever family that’ll play with me, love me, and let me be my fun, silly self. If you’re looking for a sweet companion with a playful spark, I’d love to meet you! Let’s make some happy memories together! 💕

Story
Dandelion is a smart, energetic, and oh-so-playful puppy who's ready to blossom into an amazing companion. She's currently learning the ropes of home life and making great progress with house and crate training. She is a quick learner with lots of potential! She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with just a few minutes (and maybe a few gentle pets), she warms right up and shows off her sweet, affectionate side. Dandelion is also working on becoming a more confident pup, and she’s already showing great signs of growth. This playful girl loves to be outside and is absolutely obsessed with squeaky toys! She enjoys rough-and-tumble play and might be a bit much for super-submissive pups, so a confident canine sibling or a dog who loves an active play style would be ideal. Quick stats! --Dogs: does well with dogs --Cats: has not been introduced to cats --Children: has not been introduced to children --Likes: outside hangs and play dates, squeaky toys (seriously, she lives for them), and zooming around the yard If Dandelion sounds like the right fit for your home, fill out an adoption application today! muttsofthemidway.org/adopt

Story
Mason is approximately 8 months old and weighs about 35lbs. He is a little shy at first and just needs a bit of time to warm up. He loves to run and play outside, so a fenced yard would be best for this young boy! Foster home update: Mason is doing well with house training.  He is good with and loves other dogs, loves people and snuggling too!  Food motivated (which is great for training time)! Loves toys, bones and playing fetch.  Not a big fan of the crate and will protest, but working on that.  We recommend training for all our puppies! **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment.  Thank you for your interest!                             If you are interested in adoption, please complete the "Application to Adopt" which can be accessed from this link: (     www.magnificentmutts.org )  No phone calls please, emails only. Adoption donations range between $360-$400 (cash only), unless otherwise noted. Prices are subject to change, please contact for specific adoption donation.
